Its working so far :)
I don't think its stable.
BTW I forgot to say i have a C0 E8500.

I don't run IBT on this CPU, it's far too hot ( already in the 60°C with just prime ) IBT is nice for a few runs, but people exagerate and hardware will fail in due time to just get a lousy screenshot that it is/was stable
Look here one of the victims ( the programmer himself ), now we need to find out what has happened ( TIM or Core/IHS issue)
IBT is NOT GOOD FOR YA HARDWARE
well i dont know if its my new power supply or if i was just rushing when i first started trying to clock my 9650 but now i am able to lower these volts even more.so either way i am happy.

IBT is good for a quick stability test. I don't want to Prime for hours every time I change a setting. Couple of minutes for 10 run IBT and if it passes that I can leave it overnight priming. I've saved days this way.
Why do you think his problem is IBT related? Isn't Core architecture quite resistant to abuse, throttling when needed and such?Quote:

aaah gotcha.
LLC - load line calibration
whats the deal? safe or unsafe? is it just a matter of personal opinion, or are there people who have actually fried their chip from voltage spikes under load? if i understand correctly, llc compensates for vdroop, basically by spiking voltage.... ?
thoughts?
I have LLC enabled and personally I like it, it makes it way easier to stabilize the OC (well for me it does).
I'm through with this board now.

Even one MHz FSB higher and it shuts down...

Nice work
Is that stable?
Could u please post ur settings?
very nice mean machine.but has it occured to you that the cpu wont go any higher(hit its limit).i bet if you set the multiplier to 8.5 or 9 you could get a little higher fsb.hell even 8 and you could probally go alot higher.any ways great job with that clock
I have the same limit with three separate CPU's regardless of multipliers. I'll see if I can give you my settings later on, but I promise you, they aren't pretty. It was 1.52V MCH and 0.93 in MCH ref or so.
550MHz FSB isn't particularly stable (once again, regardless of CPU frequency, multiplier, MCH voltage, straps, you name it I tried it), but it works for Pi 1M if you're lucky. If you need stability, about 525 is where I need to be. It just doesn't work well enough for me, the board keeps :banana::banana::banana::banana:ing all the time, I've spent tens of hours getting it stable, but over 525 it's just not that.
What's so fab on 552FSB and a CPU-Z screenie ? His CPU speed is mad for air or water ( but with extreme cooling is average ) Would love to see a 32MB run... as taking a CPU-Z, 1Mb run screenie takes one minute of stability in windows... don't get too easily arroused guys lol
try a diff cpu dude, only take me 1.3625 cpu volts, 1.26 vtt, 1.3 NB with refs at .768 and .758 to do 550 prime blend and 3d stable....
Already tried an E7200 which behaved exactly the same on the board, regardless of voltages.
@ Rattle ,What's your board Revision? 1.0 or 1.1 550x8 is the greastest clock that my Cpu can do but seem no possible with this board ??
Any way could you post yr full BIOS setting ?
well i was able to get it somewhat stable a while back at 556fsb.so it can be done

Very Nice radaja, ask some Question I notice that my 12+ Volt Rail is alway below 12.00 It's around 11.87-11.92 in ET6 And never go above 12.00
. Is this something wrong with my mobo? I see you have alway over 12.00 that u show ur post in the past.
Note: I use Enermax 460 Watt for my system and everything run up as usual.
BuGjAE,from what i understand its better to have a single rail psu.with my antec 550W psu it was multiple rails and my 12v would always go from 12.30 to 11.30 under load,it seem to stay in the 12.49 to11.98 while doing large fft's but when it got to the small fft's it would drop to 11.98 to 11.39 area.but now that ive change my psu to the PC-Power&cooling 500W with a single 12v rail, even using my quad i have yet to see my 12v line drop below 12.11,its usually at 12.51 to 12.49 under load.and it seems that having a very stable single 12v rail with high amperage allows me to run my quad with much lower vcore.i assume it because there are less flucuations in the vcore that is being supplied.
Hello...
...is some new bios out there for the EP45T-UD3P DDR3 Board???
I have now F4
...thx
