Just got a hold of my kit that came directly from G.Skill. Major props to TweakTown for the gift.

Ordered a P55 board last night, so no testing until next week. :(

I wonder if I could get some decent results out of my X58? :yepp:

I think no. Eco has new chips... maybe 40nm elpida :confused:

what problem with CR and dual? I haven´t any problems...
and 2600MHz is great :) can pass SPI 1M or 32M? :D

MY personal Idea :

They are same but different category, means for example Elpida sell mem manufactories BBSE but are all BBSEs are same? :D
they have a lot of categories with same name, manufactories binn good ic for their highend product (Class A), and ... :)

all memories from 1600 cl6 to 2250 cl8 are Hyper but they are not same in performnace as we saw before. :up:

PIS is binned IC from last IC's and ECO is mainstream series. :yepp:

BTW nice freq Dedal cpu under cold?:up:

borec The problem is setting high freq at low CL, but prolem is all about CPU's IMC. When you set different Command Rates for cannels, it can helps me to set +70-80MHz with fully working dual channel mode. :)

Did your sticks scaling after 1.72v ?

Max on air 1.76 no problem, but when i touch HS was damn Hot !!!

It is somthing wrong with official F6 bios for P55-UD6, cant enable 2200CL7(7-10-10-28) at 1.65v
With F6b bios there are no problem.

ok :\ however this kit is very good :D when I bought the DDR3 me, these were not available :(

I think ECO is very good mems. Some times a little better than PIS, especially with lower timing. But I think his life is very degraded when you pull it on 1,65V+ :)

my short oc report..

I will post here few screens from my tests, cause there is no point doing new thread. I got this kit last week after two week delay. Fedex did not do their job as good as usually.

I used cheap ASUS P7P55D Pro motherboard and my i7 870 is the worst of it's kind. On this board, absolutely max bclk is 213MHz :rolleyes:

This issue was limiting my tests quite badly, when I tried to find the maximum stable clockspeeds.

These following results should be easily repeatable in any setup, cause my system parts are so crappy.

Setup:

2x2GB G.Skill F3-17600CL7D-4GBPIS (DDR3 2200 7-10-10-10-28 1.65V)
ASUS P7P55D Pro
Intel Core i7 870
Thermaltake 1200W TP
ATI Radeon 4890
Noctua NH12 cooler
Win vista 32-bit

anyone know if these F3-17066CL9T-6GBPS are elpida hyper? or how are they clocking on x58? (I have a Gigabyte X58A-UD7 mobo and I7 920)
