Thank you very much that you noticed it, i have not noticed it untill you metioned it.
I changed the outlet with the inlet and the temperature dropped down, thank you again.

Looks good but the optical unit sticks too much in front.
Hey CD, what case is that? it looks very similar to what VoodooPC is using on their new case...
The case is an Antec NSK 4400.
Thanks, I do have different case, mine is PC G70, but very similar to yours, power can go up top or bottom, but dont think my power supply will fit up top with my rad, but maybe. I will have to do some mods no matter where I put it, but up front is another idea, thanks for the pics.
CyberDruid nice pump
Wow that's pretty funny hearing my $50 NSK4400 looks like a Falcon NW :ROTF: Not that I mind...
Yeah I know the ODD sticks out..damned drive is 1/2" longer than most. I was too cheap to get a shorter one and the client didn't care.
I am definitely going with the "Neopolitan" reservoirs next time: three loops is the bomb.
CyberDruid............. NICE
have to ask out of jealousy.. is that tubing bigger than mine :(.. lol what size tubing is that that looks awesome .. nice job.. you seem to be one ofe the very who who are consistent with each new build and dont go overboard/overkill.
Really like your work man keep it up.. to all other viewing this thread you can learn alot from CyberDruid
Kreuml, what cards are those?
I've never seen a card with only a single 8-pin connector.
wow sexy/clean rig you have there :)
I like those blocks: very "het" :D
@Darren: thanks but I swear it's only 1/2ID 3/4OD: the case is tiny! Makes everything look huge...
here's a lil update from today. gonna mod my maximus 2morrow cause there is not much time left.
looks a bit messi for now but enjoy ^^

@Disruptfam, I really like you new build!! It looks so awesome and very unique!
@CD, you build custom cases for a living or something? Your really good at it!!!
You've all inspired me to post some pics of the build my dad and I just finished...
Here ya go:
The casing is a bit messy with finger prints, but oh well..

Heres our custom built temp watching thingy :). It shows the CPU, NB, SB, GPU's, in and out coolant temps etc.
Top ones the CPU, second is 1st VGA, third is the 2nd VGA, forth ones the NorthB, fifth is SouthB, and sixth is water out temp. (the rad tells us the water in temp.)

Hi guys,
here's my TJ07 with the below sig...
Yes id also like to know about the clearance, just watched your case on youtube :D its good
Lloyd, turn the Fuzion 90 degrees so the outer barb is to the left instead of the right. I did the same error and after doing that, it doesn't cross now :)
Beside that, it's nice :)
Still tinkering and cleaning up!
Just figured out that i can use original tj07 HDD cage in the 5.25" bays without any mods or drills! Excellent!!
nice build
the white lights and coloured coolant is a very good mix i think
I think it looks sharp. Sweet wire management too, nice and clean.
Here's my contribution to the thread. Long time lurker, first water cooling system. Starting out simple, with cpu only loop. Some things I forgot to do: Make an extension from the rpm of the dcc to the cpu header, sleeve my ghetto hard drive cooler's wires, and rotate it so the wires are closer to the other side. Placement of the T-line isn't aesthetically pleasing imo. If theres anything I could improve on, please let me know!

Nice build! Is that the G92 8800GTS?
Yes it is. At first I wanted a GTX but when I heard a new GTS was to be released after the GT, I waited. My wallet thanked me :)
Thanx for the comments guys.
I agree with disruptfam with these white ccfls, can give you quite a tan on one side of your face if turned on indefinitely!:D
@ Pharoahe808 and ka lok,
Can you show me any more pictures and the wire management? Back side of the board? Build logs? Radiator T-line pump placement?
I am about to change boards in my TJ07 and drill the MB tray. I could use all the inspiration that I can get. Feel free to PM me any tips.
Thanks ka lok, thats definitely way better than how I have it now. Now I just need a way to hide that hideous T-line lol
@spider_d: My cable management was completely inspired by AndyM, but I can take a few pics for your when I get home if you're still interested.
Hot stuff there welshtom, love the reservoirs and the fuzion.
I'm sorry I hate the color scheme lol... but the interior is very well done, clean etc... nice backplate-like mosfet coolers too :D
Hi there
Dont really have a work log as such but did get loads of good ideas from diff people (AndyM and Ladderman to name a few)
Do have a few pics of the back panel and lower compartment. Will take a few more tom as well!
Basically I made 4x1 inch holes in the MB tray using a holesaw and plugged them with rubber gromets (1 for CPU power, MB power, Video card and jumpers).
Have also made a 3 inch hole in the gulley of the divider behind the MB tray using a dremel and a reinforced cutting disc.
I also used door stops to prop up the rad. Had to drill 4x holes in the bottom of the case to secure them.
Hope this helps. Good luck with the modding!
I love that red/black scheme Welshtom!
KA_LOK, what brand is the coolant/dye you are using??
is it purple.. or supposed to be red?
i think silverstone make them, but im not too sure. Ill try and find them
I think the front mesh is in fact made up of Lian Li Black Mesh 5.25" Front Bezels, Like the ones on the LL PC-A16 http://www.lian-li.com/product/produ...index=4&type=b
Wanted to post a follow up but with the holidays I have been offline for a bit..
Just to clear up any confusion I am an end-user for the Murderbox, I was involved in some of the design and layout but the craftsmanship was all Charles at Murderbox.
I was so excited and happy with the results I had to post the pics here and tried to answer questions to the best of my abilities.. the Murderbox is a commercial product and in hindsight I should probably have been more clear about that.
I saw a post that was asking about costs.. these finished machines are definitely in the top price brackets for custom PC's. Each machine is a hand made computer for its owner and as such each one is unique in many aspects including costs. As someone who laid out his cold hard cash for one I think the value in these pieces of art are clearly visible.
The best analogy I could think of is one from the car world. The Muderbox is much like the custom coach builders, taking a proven chassis and constructing hand made custom machines of impeccable detail and quality, think Boyd Coddington, Chip Foose and so on. As good as all the comments about the workmanship have been from the pics I can tell you that in person the level on detail and execution is even more outstanding.
I moved web hosts over the holidays and the images were lost but they are all available with some more at the Murderbox site, just click Gallery. The 'glowy' shots proved to more of a challenge in matching the exposure of the outside to the inside of the case.. the Options page on the site shows you the darker glowy look.
Hope everyone had a great holiday season and happy modd'n on 08'
S
hey sinison...
any night shots of that tj07 yet??
What is this fitting? I'm going to order a pair of the 3870 blocks from EK soon, and that would look pretty damn sexy, I cant seem to find this fitting on his site though....
EDIT: NVM, Google is my friend
got rid of the soprano and here is my new aurora...much better...

it`s ot finished yet....i`m out of tubing..:D :D
@Giorgos th.
Looks great!
Keep us updated on the project and keep up the good work

Still deciding on either t-line or reservoir.
NEvolution, how quickly does that T-line configuration bleed?
I was wondering what you were doing with the inlet not coming from any outlet, I was super confused until I read what you put :p
FYI I HATE the TT Armor WINGS/ears/front-flap-things. I have 5 of these cases and the first thing i do is remove the flaps :)
THere is a Thermochill PA 120.2 in there, with 2 Panaflo U1s on the back and 2 LED thermaltake 120s on the front for looks. I am using the stock Maximus Extreme chipset cooler, i know its restrictive but im runing a QX9650 @ 4.2 and havnt seen 50c doing a 24 hour prime95 FFT run with panaflos @ 70%!

Notice i removed the big 24CM fan, but it leaves plenty of air into the case.
Nice setup :)
Nice looking rig there!
I like the red/black theme and all the attention to detail: nice look :)

No problem! Be glad to help. Preparing the case wasn't hard at all.
I removed the 3 HDD holder in the front lower portion of the case to make room for the radiator (Thermochill 120.2). I screwed 4 standoffs into the 4 holes on one side of the thermochill and then using 2 of the pre-drilled drive bay holes (they line up prefect) for the front of the radiator, and drilling the other 2 for the rear standoffs (into the drive bay). FYI i used the fan from the HDD bay i removed (and one from another case) for the FRONT of the radiator for looks, and it does increase the airflow versus just having the panaflos pushing into the back. I also removed the foam dust collector pads that were in the front drive bay covers to increase air flow (and looks).
We tried mounting the pump several different ways, but the best method we found was using 2 layers of 3m automotive trim tape on the pumps back. This stuff never lets go. As you can see i bought some 1/2" elbows for the pumps outlet over to the bottom of the radiator. Another thing i did, which is optional: I use a 700w thermaltake modular power supply which has a fan on the bottom. This fan is blocked by the rear-top HDD bays. I turned the power supply around so the fan faces the back of the case, and then cut a matching hold into the aluminum case side. Just by freak coincidence we have a C02 laser (My dad has extravogent hobbies) so i cut 1/4" Plexiglas with louvers for air intake to fit the hole and make it look nice. I also cut Plexiglas to mount the swiftech reservoir as you can see in the picture. With the laser we can cut anything wood or plastic up to 1/2" thick, it just needs to be a Corel-Draw X3 or autocad drawing. If you like i can cut another swiftech mount and mail it to you for free, it only takes a few seconds to make.

Thanks :D
Im hoping to start a new project in the new year, Fancy having the Black Album snake laser cut into the side of my "new" case.
sorry for low resolution

(Their is 7.1cm of clearance)
I need to give it a go-over with a can'o air ^_^
Like the look of the rig Binormalkilla.
Yea he has that Swiftech Radbox. I'm really that the Radbox is sturdy enough to hold that 480GTX......because I would've had to fabricate a bracket for it if not.....there isn't any way it would fit in my case without relocating the SATA cage and the top 5.25" cage.
I wish I could have mounted the top of the rad flush with the case....but as you can see that isn't possible with the location of the 120mm exhaust case fan.
I may look into drilling some holes....
I still have to take my dremel to the top fill port hole and widen it......looks like crap with it poking out like that:rofl:
Just like to say merry christmas everyone. Have a good One!

Still using plain distilled water.
Going to use my G11 + Biocide mixture once my FuZion nozzles come in and I find the best nozzle to use.
And if it's a Q6600? Use the quad nozzle right?
Can some one tell me where SiNiSon got his sATA cables from? I mean I found the one website someone posted but I live in the US and it doesn't have prices for the US and I can't ship to the US.
P.S. Everyone Murderbox.com is up... check it out! I guess he is selling his mod to anyone who wants to buy it! I can't get the pictures to come up... but still impressive none the less
