I like how big that fan is. It's bigger than HD 5850/5870 reference fan, isn't it?

Too many people have assured us of too much stuff about Fermi. So I'll take this info with a grain of salt.
That's what I am hoping for as well. Hope these cards will kick some a$$! :D
Yeah, looks it. 4 heatpipes, huh? Reminds me of GTX295 for some reason.
guys at Donanimhaber pointed out that this shot was rumored to be a "GTX 390" some time ago. whatever it is nvidia isn't gonna put FOUR fermi chips on one card that's for sure :D

^ Woah, disappointing. :(
Thanks for mentioning it.
dont be disappointed, from what I've been hearing, GTX 400's will indeed feature reference coolers with heat pipes.
Sorry. I'm screwed from this link :(

I hope the 470 doesn't require an 8-pin connector. My PSU doesn't have any :(
Another set of pics. This is 99% GTX 470 that Nvidia partners received. (No stickers fermi with 2x 6 pin power connectors, hence conclusion that this will be 470)

nah , it doesn't make sense at all for me , fan has to blow most of the air over the heatsink , the way it is made most of the air will flow from the back of the PCB without ...
if that is the intake then the exhaust from the other side "top" , and both ways doesn't make any sense and wont circulate enough over the heatsink ..
Here is a picture of a 280GTX heatsink

I thought the power connectors on fermi were in 90 degree angle.
Its not conventional fan. Its good old centrifugal fan design just like we have seen on other GPUs in modern history. These fans dont direct air downwards. It throws air away from blades around circumference.
Any air that moves down just creates turbulence. So this gap allows air intake from both sides as well as helps in reduction of turbulence.
And about second pic, its just bad cam and shaky hands ;)
i just want to see some prices and performance numbers only because ill be somewhat upset if their sub 500 card is faster than the 5870.
Since when did nvidia start including two sli bridge tabs?
