C2 version isn't better by default, if you have read the article at Anandtech you would know. Also the DS3,DS4,DQ6 have been known to clock good for many other ppl, the P5B and others are also bashed at, all because of the unlucky draw! At least this is my opinion...
My E6300 clock at 3Ghz no sweat on my DS4...
I still belive the DQ6 is a good board, the bios is *slowly* getting better. The SATA optical issue has been resloved for me as has the FSB issue.
I *STILL* think there is a bug in the VCore and overcloking, it's getting better but may take F8 before things get to play nice.

ok i have installed F6b in my DS4 and everything is fine , i didnt gain any MHZ or dropped C but i have found that in easy tune you can only adjust CPU fan speed, with my old f5c adjusting the cpu fan speed at 50% for example applied the same %for the power fan connector underneath the last pci . SInce i have a VF900 powered from there i went back to f5c (f6b run the fan at 100% speed)

Well the DQ6 bios should be here soon, as the beta is much further along with F6e (compared to the Ds4) ...thought i have seen f and g betas also.

thats right the beta bios's are not official gigabyte bios's.
dont ever ask gigabyte for help or questions about a beta bios, they will deny you any help until you switch to an offically released bios.
Screwe them, the guy replying to your query hasen't a clue. these bios come from someone within Gigabyte, just not official.
F6e is as legit as they come.

I had problems with my DQ6 and my wireless keyboard and mouse with the F1 bios and trying to get in to the bios setup, the idiots said it was not anything wrong with the bios or their mb and it was a problem with my stuff!!! F2 came out and my problems with the keyborad and mouse went away!
