Yep, that's the feeling I've gotten when contacting a couple of places... and from what I've seen of some sites such as PNY's showing that GTX 400 series link then yanking it off, only to have it show up a few minutes again and so on.Quote:

Yep I have the feeling that my waiting and not jumping on the opportunity to order right now from that place might make me have to wait. I'm going to be ready and available to order the moment I find the card I want which ideally would be the BFG or Evga OC'd version. I guess the 725/1050 rumored one. Since I plan to keep them 12-18 months I'd like to ensure I can deal with issues easily and both companies have had good reps. With the reading it seems the 512CC is going to have to be a refresh OR it'll be priced higher than reasonable. Also both companies have that 90 or 100 day trade up thing just in case a refresh comes out sooner than expected.Quote:

Impressive in some cases, unimpressive in others... I'm curious, if these are relatively accurate, how the minimums fare: will we see much bigger min. gains than avg ones? I'm hoping it'll be like the GTX 280 to 5870 gap in that regard, where the minimums are boosted far more than just averages. It seems realistic enough *shrug*. :shrug:
Depends if it's framebuffer limitations or not... hopefully we can look forward to driver improvements ala' 10.3 catalyst for the 5870, for the GTX 480 in a few months if this is accurate. It's about what I was expecting.Quote:
