9.9C intake temp right now...
I see that you have a liking for Plextors as well ;) I have a Plex museum at home.. and the first gen scsi CDROMs still work too! Once again.. great taste.
You only live once....
I have my station in front of a bay of 4 windows :D I am seriously thinking about using an IwakiRD30 to drive at least two PA120.3 set ups...gotta keep that Iwaki dry though...
Are those Windy cases sold anywhere outside Japan - or pref. in Europe?
No...it was a real trick getting one ;) A friend in Singapore was kind enough to fly one in for me.
One fine day, you should visit Singapore (if you haven't already). They have two shopping malls, both of which have about six to seven floors of shopping. They sell only computer hardware. Its like a wet dream come true. In the 1970s and 1980s, they used to sell software and cd movies by the kg. ...roflmao... I did indulge myself a little lol... {was from there.. not anymore... but my brother still sends me stuff..}
However, that is nothing... nothing... compared to Akihabara in Tokyo.... remember the silly rap song.. gangsta's paradise? Akihabara is like a geek shangri-la lol :)
Now that is something I could easily convince the Wife we need to do:p:
Yes, everything fits including the front mounted dual 120mm water cooler with 8 hard drives. I think it's one of the most crowded stackers on the web haha.
CyberDruid,
What CPU block are you using there?
Correct. It's handmade by fstfrddy over at OverClock.net. It's okay...but I have another coming from him...a new design that is more LGA 775 compatible.
Can we see some pictures of the inside of the jammed Stacker please?
CyberDruid, you make some killer rigs buddy.
I wish you were my neighbor.
Fine work sir....
:) Thank you.
This isn't my first wc setup, i think its my 3rd, but its definately the biggest.
i screwed my loops up a bit which i'll fix when i have time :shakes: .
overkill is probably an understatement but it was fun :).
at the moment this is how it's setup -
loop 1 = pump 1 -> rad 1 -> cpu -> gpu's
loop 2 = pump 2 -> rad 2 -> mosfet's -> NB -> SB.
Pump 1 is a danger den d5, pump 2 is a liang ddc, rad 1 is a pa120.3 and rad 2 is a black ice gtx 240.
when i change the loops i will separate the cpu and graphics cards, but should i match the cpu with nb and sb or the mosfets?
any advice is apreciated, unless it involves a trash can :p: i'll better manage my cables when i change the loop
one more thing, i have 2 of those silencer 750's so i have a bunch of power to spare.
i'm open to ideas as to how i can use this spare power to chill my loops?
silent is preferable, i was even thinking of sticking a TEC on a radiator but that seemed stupid.
i dont want to take off any water blocks tho.
dude, buy a radbox or 2
ummmm..... defo need a clean.... up
looks 2 bizzy in there atm.... :)
I'd put the CPU with the NB. Although the NB probably runs about as hot as a GPU if you overclock, it will be easier to get tubing to the NB.
Nice setup though, I would clean up the cable management a bit, but other than that, great! What dye did you use in your liquid? It actually looks red, not pink! :ROTF:
the dye is fliuid xp, it was called blood red. i agree with u about the cable management and with blaqmale about the radiator. the cables i can fix but the rad is too much trouble. i'm using this system as a gaming rig and htpc, i also use it to download. this means i want it on 24/7 and no flashy lights (its in my bedroom), so i don't have a clear panel on the side plate. i even unpluged the hdd and power lights! for those reasons im not really concerned about how it looks on the inside (to some extent), i'm more concerned about performance and temps.
so you reckon pair the cpu with the nb? what should i do with the sb? stick it with the rest? cheers for the fast replies too
Love what you did here

:D :D :D
yea that i freakin sweet. i dont have the extra fans to do that, yet.
i ripped that idea off someone else lol. i think it was on this forum? it was all i could do to make that giant freakin radiator fit somewhere but i just realised i dont need it to stick out that far anymore!
that's purrrrty!!!
I like the black fluid. Nice touch ;)
can u take some pic's further away select
My updated wc setup. Just got an swiftech gtx and a new processor and memory.
let me hear your reactions! (this is my topic: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=163612 )

yeah please take some pic's in natural light.. having bad pic's doesn't do your rig justice...
@ callen_1: i want my water to look like that when i go wc - how u get it like that? TIA
He said he used Fluid XP colour blood red. I've just been checking their website, but can't seem to find that colour in EU. There are some AU resellers listed on their website - maybe you'll have better luck
I'm gonna try some red Feser View dye and see if that's better than the pink dyes I've tried so far.
Picture of some red Feser in action here ! (not mine unfortunately  ).
http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...IMG_1516v2.jpg
Hmmm - maybe it's the lighting, but I think it still has that 'pink' look about it. Certainly looks better than the other stuff I've tried though :D
yeah, i agree - too much pink... in that PC case that is ;) :p:
i wanna get a nice blood red - i'm a lil worried that if i go a red dye, it'll fade over time, & so i was considering this:
http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=20720
any comments?
Try this:http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2159/...24edd8.jpg?v=0
3000l/h pump feeding a peltiered Swiftech Apogee and a Danger Den Maze 4. Will get some UV on it later.
That's very similar to my 1st attempt:
http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/4...ontviewxz4.jpg
Not quite the 'red' I was aiming for :p:
this is where i got my fluid
http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=21199
the red actually goes a little darker over time, dunno why?
Barbie approves :p:
The best stuff I've found is the blood of a freshly pwned n00b...
My system.

Keep us updated! You should create your own worklog so that you don't end up doing the same as Cyberdruid! lol
Patriote i want to publish 2 worklogs.. 1 on the bit-tech the other on russian language :)
Are some Katanas going on there too?
Patriote ^) no prob)
Very nice system Hornet. Clean, and clearly well-planned.
I was thinking of going to 3/8" from 7/16" at some point in the future, and was wondering what fittings you are using there. If anybody could post me a link, I would appreciate it.
wow, thats a lot bigger than I thought it would be. It is really kickass though. Make sure you dont impale yourself if you trip over that cord.
Already is a work of art without anything on it.
deepsilver that is a pa120.3 compatible radgrill?

Have you actually cut the panels or just have chosen to run the pc without them on?
I did cut them but I'm, keeping only back side panel on.
Here it is:

@Lukashill
M8 you are on the right Forum I do believe. Great work. I am very impressed :)
Awesome job. I do the same with my case at the moment, both sides were off earlier as I was too lazy to actually cut the panels.Quote:
I did cut them but I'm, keeping only back side panel on.
lukashill I really, really like your "MAD MAX" system! 2 triple rads for a single CPU loop? How more overkill can it get? :D
Cheers, its the new (ish) Cosmos from Coolermaster
hey guys, built my firstwater cooled build base on mamimum pc dream machine with some diffrent parts. what do u think.
