With the direct 3.3v from PSU mod it's possible to use the DDR Booster to increase/decrease a bit more the voltages?
Can someone post some more pics with vcore mod only?
With the Booster and 3.3V, you could possibly raise the voltage, but you would also be feeding that back directly to your 3.3V rail. Not a very good thing to do. There is no way that the Booster would decrease VDimm below the voltage supplied by your 3.3V rail though.Quote:

I soldered to the +ve pin of one of the caps. Did this from the underside of the board. If someone could take a photo of the underside of the board I will mark it up showing where I soldered (no digital camera here)Quote:

Great Job Man , can you take a macro photo of that are ?
Cumps
Edit :
Why is that wire so long ?
I was reading that is dangerous to have a so log wire :S
Is there a conection by the front to connect and disconnect the mod ?
I need help about vcore....

I'm from italy, so, first of all sorry for my bad english.
I read all the post, but I'm a little bit confused. I've no problem on soldering and cutting trace, but I would like to be sure about what I'm gonna do.
The last mod that I dii was on a DFI infinty and on this board to rise the voltage saw by the ram (actually I have 2x512 mushkin leve 2 that run 270 prime-stable 2-2-2-5 with 3,5 volt ) I had to do the VDIMM mod. On the DFI mobo the vdd mod was mad to increas the northbridge voltage.
Here I understand that the VDIMM-VIO mod is needed to set the ram voltage at 3,3 volt fixed value.
Vddr is the value that is saw by the ram? (BTW is the value that I want to pusch to 3,4 - 3,5 for my bh5?)
But what mod I have to do to permit me to adjust the value of ram voltage?
To increase the value of the vddr, I have to increase or decrease the value of the trimmer?
How the step 1 and step 2 works? Is possible to do just the stp2 to have the chance to set the ram's voltage at 3,6 - 3,7 ?
Should be possible to do the VDIMM-VIO mod to get the 3,3 fix value and than make the step2 vddr mod to increase the value untill 3,7?
Thanks for answer
Does anybody know the vdimm reading point? My ddr booster leds are burn...

What´s the averege oc that i can wait for this voltage ?
Can you help me ?
Thkx a lot guys [[]]
Normaly 245-260MHz with BH5! :) Maybe ur Board sucks?!
Not the board maybe the mems , at the k8ns also 225/230 was the top oc , maybe doing something wrong in the bios ,
what ram config are you using ?
166/2.0-2-5-2/1T ; Aggressive Timings = Disabled ; 9 x 2xx/3xx.
Going to try that :D
Wish me luck :D
Edit :
Forget what i said :D
I got this now that i´m waiting for ocz powerstream 520W

Single channel , 256 mb only cpu is on air

why not 512mb? 2x256 dual?
@|-jokker-|
Nice one! :D How much Volts u give that BH5?
Vdimm = vio on msi neo2...

Just need to put all together and hope my FX55 don't dissapoint me :)

Vortan!
Nice idea with the fanheader, i forgot that... :)
Fanheader is not the on/off, just the base for the on off (done it with pins from a dead p4c800 and an old cdrom jumper ;) )Quote:

Anyone recomend other bios?
Don't know were i read but there's a 1,5beta bios somewhere dunno if improves anything...
When i put 2,85v for the mem's in bios (max available) when i read the voltage in the reading point (using a grabber to do that) i read 2,70v...where are the others 0,15v lol ????
More weird than this is if i put the mod on, for example, 3,5v when i turn it off the multimeter reads 2,85v for 2, 3sec...but after that shows me the 2,7v again...
Any idea on this one????
Thks in advance ;)
Hmm, i prefer 1.36b for high Vdimm and BH5, but if it will fix ur Problem, dunno!?
Here is all fine no prob with the voltages! Maybe the mod don't work that good
as it should?! :)
wheres the test point for vdimm guys?
The mod works perfectly Gravedigga i can raise it till my psu shutt's off, almost at 3,9v...it's an enermax 465w with all rails modded...i will try the 1,36b later...Quote:

Anyone have done the Vdd with success? if so please post piccies.
Cheers,
B
yes , if someone has done it , plz post px, also , -cause i have the pc assembled and "closed"- does anyone know which one is the small regulator , to which the vdd mod is applied?, above the marvel sata-chip ? cause i want to find the datasheet , i cant see clear from 20cm away , but i see somethig like A235 , and i cant find a damn datasheet of it ,
