Once you get them installed you may want to leave it on air. Watercooling these is pretty overkill but awesome of course.

I orderet 4 CPU Retention Retainer Bracket Holder and 4 asus heatsinks.
Already have one old BFG 7900 GTC OC 512mb and another old geforce 7300. (After i try i will let you know if this this cards work on this motherboard)
1 sata hard drive
PSU High Power
I think I have all parts i need to set up :)
Make sure you spread the load out over the four 12v rails otherwise internal protection might kick in.
Any chance to make Windows work on this board?

how many cms would be good as a minimum between mobos with a 1U HS ?
1U is 44.45mm, but I don't see much reason to have them as close as possible unless space is extremely limited.
yep Jacka, I am trying to see if I can have a bundle of these into a 4 U case ( non standard, might be custom).
Only thing that I can think of that might be a problem is the backplates, but I guess the manufacturers of 1U heat sinks take them into account, so it should be fine.

I have done excesive tests with many vgas.My board shipped originaly with bios 0.9.x and could post with every vga i have put it.From permedia2 pci and radeon 7500 pci to ati x700 pcie to nvidia 9800gt and ati 4850x2.
but the board would hang at the entering the bios when asked to get it.After upgrading to mr shootas bios 1.0.7 i could only get 9800gt pcie and ati 4850x2 pcie to work.All others prior tested and found working by me,could no longer work.
So it is not the board that is picky but the bios revision.
Any luck on the green mobo edition bios image?
Jack are you sure that's a pci card? It looks like an agp to me.

Well, I've got a drawing for the brackets to screw to the bottom of the TX3s so I can screw them to the backplates, so I just need to send them to a friend that will be able to cut them for me. Unfortunately one of the backplates has a stripped thread, so it'll probably be easier to find another backplate than repair the thread. I might send Kryja a PM to see if he'd be willing to send me one of his from the faulty board.
Then I've got to wire up the PSUs! I've got 16 and 18 pin connectors and heaps of crimp terminals. I've still got all of the stock cables on one of the PSUs, so I might get some adaptors for that so I can get it running until I have more time to do the wiring.
yeah i'd do the adapters since it'll be much quicker. Have you even been able to test that everything works?

SSH to it...run BOINC from terminal. I use putty as an SSH client, its free. As far as the commands to check on BOINC...I don't know.
you never pull the card while it's running, in the bios/efi you need to ensure that it doesn't halt on errors and then when you turn it on it theoretically should boot without a video card but some mb's are picky about thatQuote:

I think I have everything I need now except USB drives now, but I have some spare HDDs that I can test with.
EDIT: If it does turn out to be kaput (which it won't!), I got all of this stuff for such low prices that I could probably make back the money from reselling.

Close ups of the mounting. You can see the 2 parts of the bracket don't line up properly. There's a 1.5mm rectangle spacer that fits fine, but the 1.0mm bracket part didn't fit perfectly (due to my stupidity), but I just filed the holes slightly and they fit like a glove now.

Chipset heat sinks with 50mm fan on. The fan is at the wrong orientation for the power to plug in neatly, but it's just screwed in with M4x20 so I can change that when I come to it.

Well the entire board has 15, so probably not, but I'd rather spend the time to get it fitting nicely. I like paying attention to unnecessary detail. :(
Your other option is to set the rod around the VGA connector. ("set" as in bend. In this case you would put in a "double set" to go out, around and then back in)

Bought the thread in three lengths of 1m (cut each into 5x0.2m). One of the ends of a piece of was quite badly bent, but I managed to get it pretty straight. Will have a check later to see if it has any kinks in the right place. :D

Long time,no see.Yet i have just won an arima quad board ,HP oem green pcb.In the next weeks i will be testing its bios and its rumored capability booting in windows environment,yet i have to admit,i prefer ubuntu distro over any win out there.This arima board was a quest to remember fellas.

I have a got a Case for Arima F3000 Mainboards.
It's a Case from Codegen S201-R.
It's a Cube Case.
On the left side is the Mainboard and on the rigth side you can built in the Power-Supply and the Hard-Disk Case.
There is enough space for the whole Mainboard with Hetpipe Heatsink from Artic Cooling Freezer Pro or Skythe Katana 2 or 3
For building in the MB you must mod the Case a little bit... :)
