Tile, those are custom bent copper elbows with no flatspots or compression points. There is no measurable impact on performance. Looks are subjective of course...

Charles, everything looks great so far. I have given you 100% confidence in the creativity department... so do whatever you think works best for the overall design/theme.
very inspiring stuff!
Thanks for the comments guys. Things are moving along so hopefully I'll have updates to show soon.
They're 1/4"
Thanks Tile, I'm going to consider your recommendation. Like I said previously, I'm not 100% happy with the loop. Perhaps your suggestion will get me closer to 100% - Cheers. :)
Thanks Fried Chicken, much appreciated. :)
daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn mate this is a+ material!!!!!
Excellent work Charles, and nice pictures btw.
charles_h may i ask how you removed the silverstone long from the case?
this is trully one amazing build..gotta love how clean it looks:shocked:
the pithon clamps mentioned by tile are amazing!im considering some myself too. need to check if they would fit though:D
charles keep up the great work. .looking forward to updates.

Thanks guys. :)
My "metal expert" guy (and I don't mean the Pantera type) gave me the stuff in a tin container. Once we ascertained that the logo was an epoxy paint, he seamed to know what I needed. Its green and gel-like. Its also very toxic but doesn't damage the anodized finish at all. I can ask him if its available as a consumer product next time I talk to him if you like. :yepp:
Giannis86: I'm also digging those Pi-Thom compression fittings. I'm trying to figure what size I'd need - taking into account the barb flange and how it expands the hose OD. Maybe Tile knows; Tile, if you're there - which parts would I need for 3/4"OD hose? would it be 1A-07 or 1A-08? Cheers.
Progress report as follows: Mounted HDs and optical drive. Sleeved and ran SATA cables also. I'll have to install a 120mm fan in the drive bay to help cool those hot little Raptors. I took a couple quick arty-fart shots to give you guys a taste of the SATA cable design. It'll be more dramatic when the key lights are installed and the loop filled with black Feser One. I'm still working on the loop and trying a few ideas - thanks to Tile.
More to follow.
Oh, I almost forgot the teaser shots - sorry they're both very similar but I couldn't pick one so you're getting the two. :p:

very neat
bout the copper tubes .. could u spray it or powder coat it as well? the copper color doesnt seems matching with ur design
how bout spraying with fluorecent color? if u prefer bling bling?
more pics of the cable-management Charles!
i checked yesterday on their site on how to measure it. Just put the hose on the barb and measure the biggest diameter. Then look at which one you need. You can find a how to measure page via the home page. They also have a video instruction on how to apply the hose+pi-thom fittings on the barb:cool:
very nicely done so far... sub'd
Wow!
This looks absolutely fantastic! Great job Charles!
Just a quick question, what cable sleeving product are you using?
Regards
dont take this the wrong way....but i hate some of you guys soooooo much. lol.
looks incredible.
i love those individually sleeved pcie and atx cables, they look mean as hell. i'm thinking an 'alien' themed front bezel? :D
Thanks for the comments. :)
Thank you Sir, I'm definitely going to get me some. :yepp:
rentay, I'm using Techflex PET - mostly 1/4" size. It's a snug fit on the SATA connectors so I shave the corners like this:
http://murderbox.com/uploads/SATA_ 002b.jpg
Using a box cutter, I shave some of the plastic off the connector as seen on the left. This ensures the sleeve doesn't snag while feeding over the cable connector. Be sure to shave all 4 corners.
Progess report: I've finalized the loop design and filled it. I have made two observations thus far:
1. Feser One Black coolant is not in fact black (it's more like Welch's grape juice. Ok, that might be a bit harsh - its just very dark purple).
2. Fried Chicken needs to replace his EK GPU copper blocks with these. While I'm not keen on draining the loop, I think those Nickel plated blocks would kick a$$ in his build. I know it's a lot of money for something purely visual and I totally understand if he'd rather stay with the copper... Perhaps some peer pressure would help the cause. :D
these updates are such a TEASER!!!! i want MORE MORE MORE!
great work Charles!
Thanks emoners!
I promise you more is coming. :)
Surely - here's a .pdf of the Company's catalogue - On page 178 you should find plastic cable clamps. The part number for the 1/4" black in 18 unit packs is PPC1525UVB
Yes but no drumsticks! :D
I'll order the blocks and look into FluidXP black as an option if the Feser black doesn't suit our needs.
Since this will temporarily put your build on hold, I'll have time to focus on my other orders - all in various stages of completion.

Yours being on the right. :)
Dang it...those murderboxes are so nice...
Charles this looks absolutely fantastic. The attention to detail is amazing.
Looking forward to seeing this finished. :)
maybe some tygon r3400 black tuning would nice ? apposed to the "black" die?
