What pci-e frequency is everyone using on the EVGA board, also does anyone know if the 9800gtx core is overclocked when i increase the pci-e clock??? thanks.
I'm currently running 100MHz ( review measurements in progress :p: ) because I'm 95% sure that it's overclocking like the 9600GT when raising the PCIe bus.
I will check it out ( if it's overclocking when increasing the PCIe frequency later on, after I'm done with the review measurements ).
@RLM, the ntune screen shot is from XP or vista? The nTune in my XP installation does is not giving me options to change voltages from windows.
I've just tested 3 different PCI Express BUS Frequencies and there's no sign of GPU Core or SPs overclocking at all.

Hi man,
Here's some "food" for ya ;)
Picture showing the main measurement points for the Asus Striker II Extreme ( CPU Voltage, RAM Voltage, NorthBridge Voltage, SouthBridge Voltage )

And some measurements:

p.s. I'll post more alternative measurement points later.
For the RAM there's one in the front side, in-between the two blue capacitors next to the last DIMM slot ( the one furthest away from the CPU ) on the top free pad.
good work Bill
how's the nose man
Thanks m8 :)
Big, like everything on me ( except the ears :p: ) :D
For real now, it's getting smaller and pretty close to its original shape.
I'm lucky the broken bones didn't move despite the "great fall" impact.
Guess I was lucky in my bad luck for once :p:
my hero  :yepp:
great work.
i have make a chart:

Finally XFX released their own BIOS ;)
Great news for me, since my reference design 790i is dying (data corruption, freezes in bios detecting SATA HD and trying to etiher go into boot menu or bios menu) I was given the opportunity to upgrade to the S2E for only 100 dollars more, carrying the instaswap warranty for the existing 2 years on my reference design. Needless to say, I did it.

I have outlined the problems I've had with two Asus Striker II Extreme + 9800 GX2 in as many weeks.
If the above users with the combination of mobo and GPU would kindly let me know which PSU they are using it would be most appreciated?
Thanks in advance
That Antec PSU for that price is unbeatable.
I would also recommend Silverstone, Corsair and Thermaltake (with Modular cable) PSUs
Assuming I'm proficient at soldering, would it be safe to solder some leads on those points to make it accessable while mounted in a case?
