i found out why my boot screen went all screwie, i installed a temp operating system using the gsata, then when i swapped it to the intel sata i got a screwed screen, swapped it back and now its fine, kinda strange.

My system's att 4,4Ghz now. Only adjusted the vcore and the vtt. Vcore 1.40v vdrop to 1,38v and vtt 1,44v. Anyone have any suggestions on settings for ram timing\volt, NB SB volts.. It's not prime stable, but stable enough to play games and run 3dmark. Anything that can be adjusted so i might get to oc the 4870x2 some.. Just abit of oc and i get fragmets. Tried 4.5 just for fun but no go..
Put the volt up to 1,435vcore 1,48vtt.. Time to get a one of these maybe :D

Have you checked to see if its stable yet? Your chip may or may not need that much vcore so if thats stable try raising the fsb more. On my Dlx. for that FSB I used 1.2312vc, 1.54pll, 1.26vtt, 1.28nb, cpu gtls @ .635, nb gtl at .665. I was only using 4gb of ram so you probably wont be able run the nb I did but you may be able to lower it some. Also if you havent set the PL you should be able to lower it 2 steps down from auto.Quote:

I got mine stable at 1.367V though some people got theirs stable with lower volts but I'm happy with it. 1.4V does seem a little high though, maybe it depends on your chipset and motherboard.
is 1.367v in bios or in windows in cpu z? Are you using load line calibration? i tryed 1.367 v but not stable in a prime 95 test. i get to much v core drop.
