comments on the board:
-the evga x58 sli board is protected better in the box (I prefer the form fitted plastic over some foam and a antistatic bag)
-the CLASSIFIED font looks something that belongs on a donkey kong barrel
-there should be a mini fan included that can be used on the mosfets and or the NB
Other than that, its my favorite x58 board to date. The way you can jack the pci-e to get the high bclk values is really un matched.

So far EVGA has used that thread to check what issues people are reporting in order to add fixes to the BIOS.
On a different note, here are my completely stable settings for 24/7 use on the 759 Classified. I can go higher as well though on air with the summer coming I think I'll leave it here. With 25C ambient temperatures and 83C on the hottest core I think I am plenty hot as is...
Unfortunately my chilled water setup does not fit due to the massive (and massively useless) NB sink so I have to stay on air for now. Not planning on paying for the NB WB at the moment. I really do not get why they could not have gone with a lower profile sink like the one on the R2E. It would have done just as good of a job.

Yeah, my 759 generally does not overvolt under load but is right at the voltage. However, R2E and R2G both overvolt pretty consistently around 0.05V. I have a feeling though that this may vary somewhat board to board in every manufacturer's case.Quote:

The likelihood of that happening is so low that for all practical intents and purposes it has no significance. There is not a person on this forum that does not cycle their chips every year or two at most. If you need mission critical with zero fault tolerance you really ought to not OC at all.Quote:

Got the new 24/7 OC, all air using the TRUE in a an Antec 900 case with a single 25mm 1500RPM 60CFM fan from Thermalright. This is as much as I am comfortable on air though I managed to get 4.46GHz stable as well but the temps were delta 1 to TJmax so I cannot run that on air. Anyway, here are the 4.378GHz settings (21x208.5). I had to loosen DRAM timings to 7-8-7-17-59-1T instead of the 7-7-7-16-59-1T that I use for the 4.21GHz OC. DRAM is running at 1668MHz and uses 3.545GHz Uncore.
