Yup. Before I rolled back cpu-z, I just got mad and pulled out the DMM to check manually.
Edit: I have pictures!
This platform is absolutely aggravating, by the way.

These settings passed 32M pi, but the OS I was on was a piece of crap that simply would not let me get a good run in. It would literally be embarrassing for me to post the time I got while running 5ghz cpu with a 5ghz cache and the 2600 tight ram profile. It is depressing...
http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps19c93cef.jpg
After I had pulled down. I used a piece of folded foil as a pot and the ram was probably around -20*C when I was pouring. It was kind of cool to just pour the water off the board.

Took the Asrock Z87M OC Formula Mini Monster for a quick ride on my cascade at -115c last nigh using my good haswell. First boot of the Board was subzero, board has never seen air cooling yet :p: Im learning the board and its behavior , settings and tricks as every board is different and my good Haswell reacts to the slightest change in voltages in a bad way , so I still need to re-test much more to find the sweet spot to stabilize the cpu over x 61Ghz wich is very capable off, it is a learning experience , a few more cascade cooling runs to pre-test , learn and save some of my own profiles and this weekend ill go all out LN2 cpu and VGAs. So 2D is not over yet , in fact It just starting , so this are not best scores yet. One thing you need to know this mini monster board flies in 2D , very VERY fast board.
Last night the board gave me 1st place 32m on 4670k cpu category , Second place 1m , third place pifast , and I just received this board yesterday , so im still learnin the board , much more to come. Thanks Nickyboy for the tips you gave me last night while I was benching it helped me a lot . New bios work flawlessly with my Team extreme LV 2400 Cas9 Sammies.

Thanks Nick!
I have been testing one of Nickshih creations non stop for the last 48 hours on cascade, Baby Asrock Z87M OC Formula , a Micro ATX that carries a punch like Mike Tyson. This Little brother of the Full ATX Asrock Z87 OC Formula is fast , and when I mean fast , is fast in 2D and also in 3D very fast and efficient.
For the longest time I have been playing 3DMark01 , lately I had my eyes on a Gold Cup at hwbot that I want it for a long long time but I could not reach the score needed , earlier in the night after 6 hours tweaking and tweaking and testing different settings it was Done ! Yes I reach my goal that I wanted  #1 3DMark01 with the old school 3870x2  , the board had it in it , the efficiency and speed of this board is amazing , so stable even after benching 9+ hours non stop at -110c on cascade , I just could not lay off my hands of it.
Set up:
ASRock Z87M OC Formula ( Micro ATX )
Haswell i5 4670K
Sapphire 3870x2 on cold water
Team extreme 2400 Cas 9 2x4GB
OCZ Agility 3 SSD
Coolermaster 1500w.
My BLUE Cascade at -115 idle ~ -110c full load
Score: 136,278 #1 3870x2 Gold Cup at hwbot.
http://imageshack.us/a/img834/3411/5j1e.jpg
That's not all , this baby brother of the Z87 OC Formula is also darn fast in 2D.
Last night the board gave me 1st place 32m on 4670k cpu category Gold Cup, Second place 1m Silver Cup and third place pifast Golden Cup, and I just received this board yesterday , so im still learning the board , there is so much more in it I just need the time to learn this new platform and squeezed every single Mhz out of this cpu , the board is capable of maxing out any cpu . Im sure enjoying it , it is a pleasure to bench on this Mini Beast

Should this thread be used also for Extreme4/6 queries? I think it's a bit silly to create new thread for all different models but don't know what you're thinking about it. I've been interested in the Z87 Extreme6 board due to it meeting my demands best with features and price. However I'm not finding a lot of overclocking user input, any1 here happen to know some experiences about them? :)
Thanks nickshih! Yes I also found another user rolling daily with 4770K @ 4.8GHz and DDR3-2800 on his Extreme6 so seems pretty capable board for 24/7 usage OCs. I'm no extreme clocker and just planning to max out OC on air (Phanteks bigass cooler beating the cheaper Corsair WC kits marginally which I hope fits this board, well I guess I will find out). Going for 4670K.
My OC satisfaction would go roughly:
4.3GHz: Dissappointed
4.4GHz: Slightly dissappointed
4.5GHz: Satisfied
4.6GHz(+): Extremely satisfied! (4.6GHz would be cool OC in this sense Extreme6, 4670K ;))
:) Too bad I'm the unlucky guy always recieving slightly worse samples, my expectation is like I'd be maxing out at like 4.4GHz 1.23~1.25v.
Extreme6 draw my attention because:
- Best onboard audio solution ALC1150 with two decent opamps for 115dB SNR powering up to 600 ohm
- Dual Gigabit Intel NICs
- 10x SATA ports (will probably be using up to like 9 ports)
- Onboard cmos/reset buttons + debug led
- The waterproof coating is neat but not uberimportant but I keep my comp without any case lying next to my desk so spilling something by accident it could possibly provide some protection
- The most features for smallest price => good bang-for-buck. (lowest price in Germany about 163 EUR!)
Took the board cold the first time today :D VERY smoothe!
One thing I noticed.... for multi-threaded stuff (even 4C/4T) I REALLY needed to push the current limits and PWM & OCP thresholds. 2C/2T was a walk in the park. My chip does 3D at 5.9GHz. Maybe more with some tweaking, today was a very quick shot to get a quick feel for this board under LN2 and to check insulation....
....which this board needs. Area between CPU & memory slots iced up quite a bit, the back needs a good covering as well, past the capacitor legs.
Didn't test 2D at all this time, sorry.
4 module psc 2600 tight no biggie on air
http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/9939/p4cz.png
All my results were gold medals on HWB....but i'm not ready to submit yet ;)
There was a bit more of an LN2 cloud during todays benching so... a bit more humid than usual, but where I live there is not really a problem with humidity :)
PWM heatsinks are gone, vaseline around the PWM :) First time using vaseline like this....what a mess :p

any bug fixes or change list?
I don`t know, ask please Nick, he knows for sure... :)
[offtopic] How do you guys defrost boards? Usually, I put them in a warm oven, upside-down for 30-45 minutes. (pot still mounted)
With vaseline... that means a puddle on the bottom of the oven :p
usually when benching, I have a bunch of shop towel packed around everywhere that might drip or condense. when im done, I just shut everything off, pull battery, and leave it alone for a day. the towels will wick up any moisture and its usually completely dry after an overnight. then again I live in the low humidity desert and that helps a lot.

what's that stuff around DIMM slots ..sponge ?
Hi All and Nick,
i have now that OC Formula Z87, and have a problem, formula drive 1.049 and Timing Configurator 2.03 have no funktion, its that normal or bug?
Offical Drive says failer if will change Multi or Vcore "90.0469 is not valid floating point", but i see the monitoring for Vcore, the Drive from first site of the Forum function but i have no monitoring for Vcore.
Question: has the OCF M the same Problem or only the normal OCF ? i have try all Biose and 4. new installed Windows 7 64bit. no chance.
Hi Nick,
I have it, the Formula drive OC Tweaker function, but i see only the OC Tweaker, no Monitoring. The Timing Config. can only read no adjust any Timings, its a problem of Board or from Sofware?
Thanks Nick ,
not so bad, but angry, next one AMD:D
Rig is broken down and being cleaned off using running hot water. should come out like a champ with its conformal coating.
zero issues last night with condensation, humidity was a little more than normal here in socal, but zero problems for an 8 hour pi session. just vaseline the dimms and let it rock. i did such a piss poor job at "insulating" with napkins lol. whatever works, they are just there to catch the drips as it defrosts.
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f2...ps1a190e0f.jpg
...and it booted right up again before i started to clean it off this morning.
incase you are saying "thats alot of frost" there is alot of white napkin below that frost... but about an 1/4 inch thick piece of ice covering both the top and bottom corner of the motherboard to put it into perspective.
Allen, start clamping that block down. I have shots of -170 (where bbse coldbug) on dimms ;)
Gotta look into this more, but my bbse was doing 6-9-6 @ 2600 last night right when i began overclocking, then after a few reboots and usual setup tweaks, it wouldn't do below c8 (avexir bbse not good air ones) thats when i switched to PSC. i have to figure out what i did that made it not drop cas anymore and never do it again.
Frost King link from the Depot for inquiring minds, I love this stuff it always goes on the bottom of the mb where the ram slots are and now lately over the first and third dimm slots as it creates an air tight seal once it freezes.
http://www.homedepot.com/p/Frost-Kin...3#.UdhWRqyfit8
For what my opinion is worth, I LOVE using frost king. When I was running AMD back a few years ago, I would use nothing but frost king because those sockets were so plain and easy to insulate. Now that I only run Intel systems with all the damn capacitors and mosfets and chokes in the way, I use eraser around most things, and neoprene for the pot. But I ALWAYS use a big piece of frost king over the back of the board to fit underneath my pot's back plate and to cover the ram and mosfet under side.

some tips here for benching samsung ICS . I believe Splave will post detailed guild for this
please try to set memory training threshold as 15 Clk
it will help to tight ur RTL and make ur 32M result getting faster .
^^ I noticed this behavior and was setting RTL (D1) 50/43 manually also tWRRD from 17-> 15 will drop tWTR to 3 ,it does makes a nice improvement
http://imageshack.us/a/img546/7397/jrm.jpg
P.S. I didn't touch training threshold at all ,would like to see what Splave have to offer
EDIT; I just installed new bioses and tools ..any idea how to get rid of this (Formula Drive)
http://imageshack.us/a/img839/7976/tpy.png
Twtr 3 is bug if mei not installed I think. Also it will show speed 0mhz
Writing guide now with pics.
speed 0mhz is due to no mei or disabled services ,as for Twtr 3 beaing a bug...-> Placebo in my case :)..the biggest improvement is lower RTL and tWRRD_dr 1~3,just my 2c
P.S. your avatar is boss :D
How much VDimm on those G.Skill ? Got the same kit around have not tried it on my Z87M OCF yet. THX for input.

Anyone knows when it will appear? In Germany it is 2-3 weeks by now, what takes so long to appear in Romania.

Gave this a spin last night whilst playing with the new bios & also didn't find any gain using 15 & 3 so must be a bug.

Try to disable Spread Spectrum value in bios...
this is with spread spectrum disabled. only with bclk of 99.9 in bios im getting 100.0 in windows...
100.0 for me unless I set 100.1
If u disabled spread spectrum... It wil be around 100.0 to 100.1
And cpuz is not reading bclk value by Intel MSR. It is by calculated from cpu frequency and cpu ratio
cpu frequency will be never permanent fixed at certain value, so the bclk is average value which calculated by cpuz
