try them they are good
pt1t got 2000 cl6 with them ;)
any results with 15000CL9D ripjaws or idea what chips are under the hood?
:up:Thanks for the testing Benji. Please show some more results for the Trident and 1600 7-8-7 Ripjaws.
Hi Benji,
how are you ?
very nice result  i waiting your result in c6 and c7 To compare with my Trident!
for this money Gskill have made a good job  !
Sorry guys, i don't have any screen to show you right now, because i'm working on other things, but here are the results of Trident 2x2Gb 2000 C9 and Ripjaw Blue 2x2 1600 C7 :

Speaking about 6-7-6-18/7-8-7-21/8-9-8-24 always 1T tRRD5 tRFC72 vdimm 1.65v, LinX 64bits
Jagva > This is not the right thread, but PS 2133 are good enough. I got some 1080 C8 1.65v rockstable and around 1000 6-8-6 1.7-1.75v
what about the gskill trident 1600mhz cas8 2x2gb kit ?
i can see that gskill removed em from his site
i have just bought this kit :) but only now see this :O
2160 Rs 9 9 9
2000 rs 7 9 7
linpack at over 2200mhz...
nice kit :O
ripjaws 2000 cl9
is it worth putting Ripjaws in system with p45 chipset?
p45 = ddr2.
These are ddr3.
There are P45 ddr3 mobo's, my EP45T UD3LR loves low voltage rams... but loathes my micron GTR's
guys
how command rate with this ram and i7?
i have more more problem with my p55a ud5 and this ram, my pc freeze after 5-10 minutes in win but i don't know if it is a motherboard problem or ram setting
at 1333 9 9 9 it can pass 400% of memtest from boot ...
what is the standard setting on ram?
i use this kit at 2066 1.64v 9 9 9 24 1t stable with memtest
@ 2000 mhz can i set 8 9 8 ?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-306-_-Product
Anyone know if this RAM is the same as the stuff in the OP (Elpida BBSE)? It's the same specs but only difference it is 1.6v not 1.65v.
Brand G.SKILL

Are the 4GB kits the same ast 6GB kits in terms of ICs?
I've got 8GB (2 x 4GB kits) but switching to X58 board and wanted to pick up a 3rd 4GB kit for 12GB total. Anyone foresee any issues?
I just ordered kit of these, looking for some nice bandwidth action :p
does ripjaws use same ics as trident?
hi devil i think the g.skill staff can ans to you -->http://gskill.us/forum/showthread.php?t=1878
tnx ^^
now i run my ripjaws at 2066 8 9 8 24 1t
very easy ... good kit :)
after test i will post screen of linx+memtest+prime95
i think is nothing special!:D
does anyone know if the g.skill ripjaws 1600 cl9's 1.50v models scale with voltage?
on the P55 platform do you know if they can be OCed to say 1900 cl8 by using 1.65v?
Pretty good there keep it up and see how high you can go.
Niiiice...:):)
Can you tell us some voltages(vtt, vdram) for these frequencies...?
DRAM Voltage ~ 1.72v
VTT Voltage ~ 1.36v
:D
With a good kit though that's pretty normal for that chip though.... I wanna see some C6 2400Mhz :D
Nice work though!
what difference are there between kits labeled 9 9 9 24 1.65v and labeled 9 9 9 27 1.60v?
different ics?
Nice kit, just wish Newegg wasn't trying to steal our money with these. DDR3 should be much cheaper by now!!!!
so is this a good buy for the 140 delivered or is there much better deals?
i got them jan for 120, mine do 2100 at 1.6v advertised timings
Latley I start to play this kits again. Really nice kits, but I cant reach that high. 2400 NHz is crazy. 2300 MHz is max for my kits. Higher Vdimm than 1.73 V doesnt really help.
are these the sticks to get still? I'm more of a timings guy but this seems like it can do CL6 or CL7 around 1600mhz no problem?
how and where are some of you guys getting these for under $100? i've only seen ripjaws at much over $100
I'm currently running 3 of 4 sticks (2 x 4GB kits) in triple channel at 6-6-6-16 @ 1600mhz on an X58-UD5 with an X5677, less than stock volts.
Probably get arreste for posting this but if you wanted to trade a good triple channel kit for my 4 sticks, I'd be interested since I'm not making full use of them on X58
Really early in the release they were $90 but have gone up since then.
Meh. I probably got some terrible sticks. Tried to run 7-7-7-21 @ 1600 @ 1.64V and HCI Memtest failed =[ this is the beginning of a lot of tweaking so we'll see.
is good 2066 8 9 8 27 1t @ 1.632v real ? from gigabyte sensor
what do you think about it :D?
http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/2521/ramokf.th.png
but is more strong 1820 6 8 6 or 2064 8 9 8?
can you guys tell me the VTT/QPI voltage you need to hit 2000 9-9-9 (rated timings)
I think part of my struggles is having to keep Uncore frequency lower. Maybe I should invoke the 22x multiplier to see.... My VTT seems to need like 1.53-1.55 or so to hit that 4ghz Uncore even though RAM is at only 1900mhz. I brought Uncore down from 2x+1 to 2x (21x down to 20x) and the RAM was fine and I could get away with 1.45 VTT. But as I ramped BCLK to 195 (1950mhz RAM) it seemed I needed to ramp VTT back up to 1.5. If I hit 200 BCLK I'm guessing I'm gonna need close to 1.55.... maybe its safer to try using x22 CPU multi for a lower BCLK... shrug.
VTT needed for 2000 is going to depend on your particular CPU's IMC, though the general range seems to be between 1.35~1.55v with some CPUs needing 1.60v+.
Is 1830 6 8 6 24 1t good?
Quite good, Im sure you could run it at 6/7/6/24/1T quite easily..
stable i don't think, i did try but i don't run stable
Hey guys...I've bought a kit of 16000CL9D-4GBRH and just removed the HS to see what's under...I was hoping to see Elpida BBSE etc etc but all I got was some -almost- blank chips with some numbers (E949A8B0941D)..I took a picture but it's a mess..So I dont think it's helpful..So what are these?PSC?
http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/9...7140824.th.jpg
The person that can make anything out of that picture deserves a free ram kit...
I already told you the picture is a mess, that's why I've written the numbers on the chips..
Those chips are probably OEM chips by PSC or Elpida.
Elpida i think, they are bigger that typical PSC
OEM meaning? :p Good enough for the recycle bin? :D
elpida bbse oem
Oh.. :| Thanks guys..Anyway..The bsods are probably caused by wrong bios settings..I hope at least.. :( Thanks again :)
Take a good look at the shorter side of the chip. If you see exactly the same as a picture below then you got BBSE. :) There should be no tiny copper dots on the white line. You may need a magnifier to see it.

Here's my 16000CL9D-4GBRHD.
http://img199.imageshack.us/img199/8451/dsc8509.jpg
Good luck!
GBRHD?? Your's are 2000 1.6v mine is 1.65V..Anyway :D Thanks a lot..What are your results? (to compare them with mine)
I took some better pictures...
http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/7...01191yo.th.jpg
http://img199.imageshack.us/img199/4...01199co.th.jpg
I'm on AMD so 2133 isn't really an option :p
The BBSE with proper screening also found in the 16000CL9D-4GBRHD as well.

P.S. Picture credit to the original owner.
Check your pm :p :D
Gregorisvas i answer your pm here :D
we have 2 kind of BBSE
marked BBSE DJ_? and batch number best one for OC
OEM BBSE starts with ?9XXXXX batch number all with E9XXX are good
i have 2133 9-9-9-24 perfect storm kit 3 X 2 and they are very old
Trident 2000 9-9-9-27
Ripjaws 2000 9-9-9-27 1,6
and new RipjawsX 2133 8-9-8
i can say 99,99% of memories 2000 or higher with 9 tRCD are BBSE or hyper
PSC can't do tight tRCD at these frequences
BTW PSC always starts with X??..... XEY,XDT, and another 10 batchs
Thank you very very very much :D ....aaaand I'm about to break my kit :D 1.65 1600 7-8-7-24 and if I leave the PC idle for long it bsods :D No reason..
Chips with code Txx and end with 3G-A(3G-U and 3G-P)are also PSC but newer batch.
http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/333/dsc8561w.jpg
P.S. hiwa is right about the tRCD.
I told you the Team 2200 had BBSE :p: - now you have to believe it :D - btw, my geil 2133 Evo one could do 2250 9-9-9 and I think Geil only used PSC, didnīt they?
P.S. @ Theix my 2000 GBTD can do 2133 7-9-7 :D maybe you should have given TRAS 23 and it would have worked, but they are sure no match for the 17000 C8^^
I have new serial of Elpida on G.Skill ripjaws 2000C9-4GBRHD (test with 1.65V)
Elpida EBSE not BBSE

You said they all started with X.. :p:
Yes I know those are PSC mate, just teasing hiwa a bit! ;)
While you said many things back then, you never said that... :p:
No idea about the GeIL kit in question, but they used these OEM Elpida chips as well on their 2133 C9 kits ( Ultra Series and Black Dragon ).
Of course I said that :p: - would be weird PSC that do 1140 9-9-9 and 1200 9-10-9-24 :D
BTW, @topic, my 24/7 Ripjaw 2000 9-9-9- they run worse than my 2000 trident who had the honour to be my worst mems before, but who cares -better than nothing :)
http://www.abload.de/thumb/gbrhrijaw...0c732mm8di.jpg
I just noticed that the XMP profile in my modules is set @ 1.60Vdimm? :S Factory issue or something else?
Seems to vary randomly, the Ripjaws are labeled as 9-9-9-27 at 1,6V and have this XMP, the Trident 2000 I have are labeled exactly the ssame and have XMP at 1,60V- I donīt see any methodical difference^^
Mine are labeled 9-9-9-27 1.65V that's why I'm asking :D
I don't know if there is a real difference / as said these Tridents are labeled the same as my Ripjaws at specs, but XMP is different, you can see it on the screen
http://www.abload.de/thumb/g-skilltr...917-9-drxp.jpg
The fact the tridents run a bit better can be normal oc-range - as the great poets from Limp Bizkit said - results may vary :D
sorry to post on an old thread, but are most or all tridents bbse? are some PSC?
i have two set of 2x2gb 9-9-9-27 tridents... i was hoping to run them both for 8gb but i'm not sure how it will effect it's overclockability... looking for atleast 2133 cas 8 or 7 for 24/7
EDIT: oh btw.. mine are 2000 9-9-9-27... i have a couple sets of them
Pretty sure my Trident 2133 9-9-9 are PSC. Havent looked but they scale to 1.74v and will do 2250 @ 7-9-7 for benching. Wish I could find another set.
well here is what i can do so far for 24/7
vdimm@1.65v
vccio@1.165v
http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/783/superpi32mm.png
http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/4084/superpi1mm.png
Stay away from the EVGA P67 FTW board, until they fix the crappy bios.... plus memory scales terribly... same set does 7-9-7 2200MHz w/same volts on my ud7.
Anyone recommend anything better for 24/7 clocks? (<160 usd)
u can try lower vccio o think
lowered to 1.14v... still stable, not sure how low i should go... it's a pain applying my overclock again on this board so i don't want to lose it :p:
Do you have any recommendations on ram that is less than 160 USD that's good for 24/7 use and benching?
I am returning this motherboard and buying a MIVE, very bad memory overclocking
go with this 16gb if u want high capacity and u want enjoy oc with 8 and 16gb memories, they don't have very good oc caz they should be nanya i never used them but just heart people forget sniper series if u want OC
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231456
go with this if u like oc 8gb and good freq
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231476
this kit if u want fly but 4gb
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231454
the F3-17000CL9D-8GBXM are very nice memories and they are very good Hynix ICs if u are lucky u will enjoy nice oc with them, maybe u can show 2200 same timing same voltage.
Update us
I picked up 2 kits of CMX4GX3M2A2000C9, 2000 9-9-9. Was on sale for $35 per 4GB kit so I couldnt resist. Will post results shortly.
excited to see the results! i was thinking of buying these also...
on another note i found some: SuperTalent Project X W1800UX2GBP?
1800 7-7-7
that someone just offered to sell me, but i have no idea what ic they use... he can't find a link, and neither can i that lists the specs.
they are hypers and very nice but fragile memories, if i am not wrong that series must be MNH ic
/Thread Revival: on
These are my results :) Nothing special, i'm just happy about it cause i got 'em cheap :p
