Motherboardpro is getting a new shipment of these boards next week (feb20) and they currently have them up for pre-order. They listed 15 available but I just pre-ordered mine so they have 14 left right now. I talked to one of the guys from there earlier and he said they should ship out Tuesday.

I will what program do you want me to use?? the one that came with the mobo?? What setting needs to be changed in order to run the memory at 1:1?

EDIT: where do you guys change the CPU voltage on this mobo?? I dont see the setting for it

mine does 525mhz FSB w/ my E8400. never really tried higher cuz im on air
500mhz with almost stock chipset vtt fsb and pll voltages.

Ok I started playing with the VTT and this is what I got. Disable all that other crap that messes your overclock my VID is 1.28 I want to try 1.35V can I get some help here Im gonna prime this sucker soon .
Any tips are welcome! I still can find out how to run the ram 1:1

imo i would do a pre order they said they are selling REALLY fast.. i know they had to special order me one last time i missed them all.. if you want to be gauranteed one i would do the pre order they are supposed to ship next week so its not to far off

Have you tried giving them the voltage they need?? I had to set mine to 2.1v

The problem is that the Cellshock Kit doesn't boot with default settings after a cmos clear. Can't change the ram voltage with a black screen.

I'd hate to say I'd get a known booting stick @ 1.9v in these boards and just getit off the egg.. I'm sure a single 1gb or 512mb stick even wouldn't cost more than $35. If you gotta friend that'd be better. I'm sure you could borrow his mem :p

hello.. i have problem to pass 510 fsb with this mobo..at 500 is full stable... but if i try to pass 515 te board doesn't boot. i have a 8400 that can do fsb 540 with mi asus p5k..
so i think that is the board the problems....can you tell me wich settings do you have used for 530+ fsb from bios?

Very nice overclock Prelim :up:

This is one of the first quad oc's that replicates what Windwithme initially did. You have a very good low volting cpu there. ~0.05V vdroop nice. What I find interesting is that you say that all BIOS settings are default.

Could you post your BIOS settings?

Does your RAM use Micron D9GMH IC's?

i have my doubts 500fsb is possible, having it primestable. My board doesnt even boots 500fsb on default settings :(

i forgot to change one parameter, only now i check it; FSB VTT default is 1.2, my mistake. maybe is stable too at 1.2v :up:

my ram isnt micron D9, if so i was at 4-4-4 :P

team elite can have many dif IC´s, such as Epida and low volt chips. dont know exactly that i have, since i never pull out the spreaders :/

Dude....that's freakin noice!! Can you run blend and keep it stable? I have seen others run small FFT just fine but when they try blend it reboots on them.

I have set in BIOS VTT 1,22V, but if I test the CPU in Orthos, the VCPU is 1,28V. So the board overvolts about 0,06V. How can I make the board to not exceed the value I've set in BIOS?

How can I limit the Vcore? In BIOS there's CPU VTT and CPU special add, there are more settings related to Vcore?

Do you have similar problem?

I just moved to this board from the p5W as well. This thing overclocks the E8400 like a dream. I'm currently at 4.140ghz (1.3v) 9x460. I started at 4.050ghz and it worked perfectly the first time. Then I moved up to 4.140 and still working flawlessly. I'm going to see what the limit the chip limit is sometime this week (i'm on air). I'll probably try to determine what the minimum voltage I need to run 4.140 first. I just set it at 1.3v to start out with and it's stable as a rock. I've got a week 45A (vid=1.08), so the voltage may be able to come down some.

Edit: Stable @ 4.140ghz with 1.26v - I guess I'll play "limbo" with it and see how low it will go. :)

Apparently it will run prime95 small FFT's (CPU only test) just fine but when you try to run blend it will cause the system to reboot at some point. I ended up getting an Abit IP35-pro (which is also 4 phase but somehow manages quads a bit better). If you like DFI then get the Lanparty LT P35 T2R(8 phase PWM) as they are about the same price now. At the time of the build the Lanparty LT P35 was about 30 bucks more.

I need a little help with my ram. I had been running only 2 sticks of my ram to start of with. Everything was fine and I had the ram running at 1146. I put in the other 2 sticks and now it doesn't even want to run at 1000 (everything set auto 5-5-5-18) even if I pour on the volts. Anybody have any idea what may be going on here?

What SO do you have? I have 6GB and in task manager I see only 2GB.

I'll give that a try.

Edit: That didn't help. Any other suggestions? The ram section is all default except for the TRFC right now.

I run vista 64 and xp 32. I see 3.2gb in xp and I see all 4gb in vista. It's actually kind of cool, cause with my old p5w I had to enable "memory remap" in the bios to make xp see more of the ram.

I got a E7200 and this board,updated to the latest bios and I still got a multiplier of 9 and not 9.5 why is this so?Is it because I did not set the fsb jumper to 1333?I set the jumper to 1066fsb already though...
