yep that white tubing looks awesome.i like the look of 1/2 ID 3/4 OD and the white just makes it look even thicker.i have the blue and now im using black
and the black is so slimming that i have lost the thick tube look:mad:
if you absolutely dont have to sell all your p45's i would seriously
reconsider keeping the EP45-UD3P because eventually you will yearn to play
with it again.and by then you wont be able to find one.hell sell the MaxII and
one gigabyte and keep the other.i would keep the UD3P and the 9600's:d
Yeah, I know what your getting at - the UD3P has been a lot of fun, but I've spent so long procrastinating and not actually using my machine I feel I need to move on the best way I can. Plus I really need the money to clear debts as I could be out of a job in a few months!
I'm happy with my i7 920 (and new pump & res:)), and the power it provides is all I'm going to need for a fair while.
To all potential buyers - I'm on ebay UK - go to advanced search - by seller- name 'in-fluence'.
Please note there's NO reserve on the items either, although you can buy them for the prices listed in the for sale section - I'm open to offers too!
Guys
I cant find the way of making any DDR3 set to make 1T on 1600...i put 1T on BIOS and comes on win with 2T...but if i go to 2000 it does 1T...
So im asking a bit uf support from GIGA on this, i been PM' stasio and Said from MEX but boards is kinda left aside....for me its an awesome board that deserves to go on
Any users that test the same i will appreciatte very much
Cheers :toast:
Sergio
I had the same problem when running my GSkill ECOs, and can confirm it only managed 1T whilst running ~DDR1000 at ~500FSB. They are rated at 2T according to the XMP, but run 1T fine on i7. Have you tried disabling XMP?
I was having this same exact problem right before I sold my USB3, I even posted asking if anyone has found a fix for this. I also ended up testing multiple sets of memory and no matter what I set in the BIOS every program in Windows indicates that the memory is running at the 2T command rate.
The good news is that I purchased a very nice Q9650 (1.15 VID) and a UD3R along with a 2X2GB kit of GSkill PI's 9600 DDR2 memory. (thanks Nkresho:up:)
Now I look back on some of the screens, I can't be certain as they're all showing whilst running 1600MHz, but I'm sure I saw 1T at one point whilst running 2000MHz on the higher ram divider, just never got a screenie.
As you can see in this pic, SPD is set to 2T under XMP for G.Skill ECOs. It may be that my version are rated at just 8-8-8-24-2T, but there are other versions such as 7-8-7-24 which may run 1T. Enabling XMP might force them to run 1T, it was just a hunch.
Just to let you all know, my 3 P45 boards are nearing the end of sale. Get in there and put in a bid or make me an offer if you're after a top board :)
i have a UD3P, i am running f8 bios, but i see the latest is F10, anyone running F10 on the UD3P....
thanks...
Well guys i decided to try some LINX on tight timmings PL7 on the hypers, today is cold day so im safe on temps. Best memory by far for this mobo hypers all the way
4500 Mhz / 1600 6-6-6-18 PL7 2T

Just got my USB3P up an running with Corsair DDR3 1600 4gb XMS Cas 7s (I bought a set of Cas 9 on sale at fry's, got Cas 7s). Q9550 rock solid at 500x8, ram at 2000mhz, 9-9-9-24.
What is a safe voltage? XMP is 1.65v, I'm running 1.72 right now for stability.
i think those are hypers right ? Mines are 2200CL8 but i have tightened at 1600 6-6-6-18 PL7 at 1,66 real vdim (1,7 bios)
its nice mine wont run at 2000 i posted as seems issues with bios, can you post a template for me to see and also an everest mem bench to see them at 2000 CL9 ?
Thanks !
Sergio
Don't own everest, and no - they are the bone stock XMS3 modules.
Got a single error in memtest V.4, backed down to 1.66v, seems to be running fine. 4gbs, 2000mhz, $85. Seems like a good deal to me
Pictures or it didn't happen :p
you can get it here
http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/late...y-tools-30530/
would be nice to have some screens of timmings with memset etc...
I will once I get it actually stable... What memory divider do you guys use? I use 4.0B with a 333mhz strap - any other divider (No matter what the speed) is either no POST or instant errors in memtest.
Which wouldn't be that bad, but I can't stabilize the ram at 2000mhz (500mhz FSB, at 9-9-9-24 with a tRFC of 88 at 1.7v (1.72v set in bios)... I get one or two errors under the random number sequence test (7) in memtest. I've tried relaxing the timings all the way to 10-10-10-30 with a tRFC of 120, and bumping the voltage to 1.76v (1.78v bios), and bumping the vMCH to 1.5v (Normally 1.38v) but it doesn't help. However, 1900mhz (9-9-9-24-74 @ 475 fsb with 1.72v vDIMM and 1.38v vMCH) is 100% memtest stable. Any input, Sergio?
Yeah after further testing, it seems all of the useful dividers crap out after 450mhz fsb, leaving the 400mhz Strap 4.00 (Which craps out around 480fsb), and 333mhz strap 4.00 - which I can't really stabilize, but at least it works.
on my Gskills 2000 CL6 i could make it 2000 9-9-9-24 1T LINX stable
this mem will boot at all dividers but ONLY do 1T at dividers that give 2000
on my Hypers 2200 CL8 i could make them 1600 6-6-6-19 PL7 2T LINX stable
but will NOT boot at 2000 at ANY settings...
I reported this issue to GIGABYTE support as seems a BIOS problem not doing 1T on 1600 and also this mem should boot easy at 2000 but wont...i get the red window on BIOS no matter the settings if i use 2000
so far im very happy that they do 1600 6-6-6-18 at perf level 7 wich is fast
