lol i cant go against integrated mem controllers on I7 but i love this bandw
Thanks Tony
Very nice Sergio.
Amazing timings Sergio
I was going to have a play with my ram today, but my board is back to not posting. I don't know what it's problem is.
hello, someone would have a good setup bios to run day-in day a 501x8.5 Q9550 (4.26ghz)
4 combs of memory usage, memory has been tested in Memtest is OK
watercooler CPU and NB
thanks
I'm having issues with getting my E6400 above 350FSB? My old ASUS P5K would do 8x400 daily with 1.4V and no increase to NB voltage. I've tried loosening timings on my ram, bumping core and mch voltage and it won't boot if I play with voltages at all. What am I doing wrong? I've been using ASUS boards all my life and because of this thread I chose a Gigabyte for my last 775 board. This bios is very different than what I'm used to looking at and I'm sure thats the problem.
edit: tried some different settings and majorly :banana::banana::banana:ed up, 2 hours later i've had to repair my win7 install.
Okay i'm back up to 4.2Ghz with my E8500 on a EP45-UD3R 443x9.5
the only settings i've changed are as follows
cpu core - 1.4v
LLC - disabled
I'm trying to get this E8500 stable at 4.2Ghz, any tips?Code:******************************

i have an E8500 on the way and i will post my template for you.this is what worked for my E8400's i had.
ill be running it my EP45-UD3P with my cellshocks
thanks andressergio, hopefully i can post some OCs this weekend:D
right now im playing with my i3-530 and ud7.
Just a little update from me:
Board is definitely dead, won't even turn on now. And I was looking at pictures of the board, against my board and found that a capacitor was missing just under the SATAII chip.
I have a little bit of saving to do as I just bought a Single Stage Phase unit, but soon I will have a EP45T USB3P.
Still lots of fun to be had :D
