Iam was using 1.38 for 500 fsb....
Really dunno what to do , what bugs me the most its that the guys that have a e8400 @ 500 fsb posted theyīre settings in ET6 and i need bios values....
I bought 2 30mm revoltec fans and seated them in the chipset without cover , and also used MX-3 instead of the hard rock type of paste they use in the chipset , a really nightmare to take off btw...
Iam gonna test now @ 1.44 but i dont have much hope....
The only thing that amuses me its that my Reapers (old ones) are passing memtes96 without prob @ turbo @ 5-5-5-15 @ 2.3 volts coming from a set that costīs 55 i must say its pretty good D9 ftw.

well andre i have ddr2 but i meant your awesome l2 cache speed cause my speeds are much lower and i also use 500 fsb so does the clockspeed of 4.5 GHz realy make that big diffrence? il post my scores tomorrow oke?
So i upped the ram to 2.32 and mch to 2.42 it was passing every test and in the 9th i got bsod !
So iam thinking the mch isnt having enough juice uped to 1.44v lets see how that works!
Passed all tests till 23 then failed upping to 1.46 lets see.... :shrug:

Itīs passing every test @ large in place ffts priority 9 its now doing
test 7 768k fft length @ 38 minutes , so in fact upping the mch is helping...
But without changing the strap(2.00d/400 mhz) i would still be in a dead end...

BAD NEWS:
Last night with the sttings above started to do some strange things like, everytime i changed a setting in bios pc shuted down back up shuts down back up shuts down , and back up with the OC settings not with the safe ones and then it booted fine....
So i was tired by so many "reboots" that i cleared cmos all night and switched to the f8 bios.
Puted the settings back on and the same thing occured .
Then i used optimized settings and the rebooting was gone then i start outing the settings one by one to find what was causing this reboots , then i concluded that the only setting that was causing this was the cpu ref!
So i must assume that the reboot was cause by some bad relation with cpu and mch ref, so now i have cpu ref @ AUTO and iam increasing the mch ref!
Andre whats the safe max 24/7 for mch ref?

its normal on GIGA boards to reboot loop dont be scared, when you screw bad with some refs, skews or timmings will do that...just power off psu for a while if that dont work CLR CMOSQuote:

yeah my pl8 was messing my mch voltage a bit now testing @ 1.460 pl 10 its 1:30 h stable , but i think i can decrease the mch voltage a bit....
Using cpu ref @ auto and mch ref @ 0.853 :yepp:
can annyone else do the everest test on 4.25 ghz with 500 fsb or other settings just so i can comare my scores...
Im assuming for ddr2 and what speed are you looking for?
