Not that I'm aware of but I've only inquired about side panels. The side panels are all slightly unique - sometimes a set will fit more than one case, sometimes not. Something to do with the case "U" design i reckon.

I don't know what to say about airbrushing since I don't do it. I'm a huge fan of powder coating as you can imagine. If you paint the plastic parts 1st you can then take them to a powder coater for reference and they can most likely match them pretty closely.

The loop is: pump > cpu > gpu1 > gpu2 > res > rad1 > rad2 > pump

The reason I chose to reverse the in/outs of the Fuzion was to keep the hoses from crossing each other as they entered/exited the block. As we all know, the barbs on the Fuzion are so freakin' close together, its a challenge to get clamps of any kind on. Now try to imagine sleeving and heat shrink as well... When I attempted to go into the "in" fitting, the hoses were practically on top of each other - especially when then going up to the 1st gpu. Because of the "U" elbows I needed coming off the top gpu, I wanted to come off the right barb which meant going into the right barb of the 1st gpu. The problem is that the Fuzion "in" barb is in the center of the block while the "out" is off to the side and I couldn't get the thing to work without having the two hoses cross each other - which looked crappy. I tried a number of variations and the solution I was happy with was what you see now. It's my understanding that the major reason for going in through the "in" barb is related to air and bleeding. This wasn't a problem at all. This build was actually one of the easier to bleed of all the machines I've built.

I hope that answers your question Bro. I think I've probably done a horrible job of explaining myself but I'm tired and my brain has gone lumpy. :confused2

Ture, that's part of it. But an even greater reason is that the central inlet is positioned in the center of the block (duh!:rolleyes:), which is right over the core under the IHS. By using the normal inlet the water is directed straight at the core, giving the best heat absorbtion. I don't know how much of a temp difference we're talking, i'm not sure it has been tested, but i know the theory is right.

I'd be curious to know the difference too. It's my understanding (and I hope to be corrected if I'm wrong) that whether the coolant is directed "straight at the core" as you say, or from the side - essentially it's archiving the same net result. I don't think of it like water coming out of a hose but more like an enclosed, pressurized fluid system - despite the fact that it's a very low pressure loop, I believe it still follows the same principle. :)

The SATA cable is covered in nylon sleeving. Techflex Flexo PET to be exact.

I allready ordered some spray paint, together with a special outlet for easier handling - my first paint (matte black) went out real good just with spray paint, so I bet this thing is going to be even better (I'm a 110%-perfection-guy, you know), but yeah, I will keep you updated once I got all the parts here!!

I hope that I'll receive my 2nd 240mm-radiator today, together with all the spray paint stuff as well!! I allready took all of the hardware out, and I will unmount my watercooling stuff this weekend and then start building and post a worklog here... :-)

when I was rebuilding my fragbox2, i had my system running on my desk for 2 weeks and I had the inlet/outlet reversed on the fuzion (with a quad nozzle), there's no noticeable performance hit at all(maybe 1-2c but thats may as well be the room temp changed). I think u've done a fantastic job there and u dont need to worry about the performance :)

Thanks inonefly, that's good to know Mate. I make no bones that I place aesthetics at the top of my priority list. That being said, I certainly never want to do so at the expense of performance. While I really enjoy reading about the efforts of those that squeeze every last drop of efficiency or maximization out of a system, it's just not my thing. I fancy myself more the artistic type than the Engineer I guess. I know there are some out there that are both, but we know how rare a breed they are. While I'm an unashamed perfectionist with visual details, I still have a ways to go in other areas.

Your work really redefines the concept of a custom built PC. I really like the attention to details that is put in every murderbox. I absolutely hate those so called "custom built PCs" that have all that arty farty look to them - flames, all sorts of colors and sometimes horrid build quality. A custom built high end PC should have a monochrome lighting, uncompromising wiremanagement and superior build quality The murderbox fulfills those reqyirements wuth ease.
My suggestion for future builds is to use for the waterloop hoses Pi-Thon clamps. They would really emphasize the uncompromising beauty of a murderbox.

Here is a Pi-Thon hose lock. The design is very simple and uses 3 parts: the 2 locking pieces with fine threads and a collar that does the tightening.

Wow, those are really looking nice, but how do they mount on a "normal" watercooler?? I e.g. have my tubes just pushed over the connector - that's it!! So how to mount these??

I'll definitely be getting some Pi-Thom clamps, they're very clean and beautifully designed. It's funny that you linked to Orac3; that was the creation that 1st inspired me.

We recently took delivery of an order of faceplates from our previous supplier and they simply didn't measure up. This is why I call them our previous supplier. I'm pleased to say we've found a new fabricator that gets the concept of fit and finish perfection and production is underway. We're a few weeks away from launch. :yepp:

But those clamps are really nice, but maybe they're a bit too large?? so they would attract too much attention?

That night I had a whole lot of new ideas!! I can't wait th start my build, I will have to write down all the ideas I had, so I won't forget them!! :d
