I decided to change back over to my OCZ TCCD and wait for the new ATI mobos, but before i did I tried the bad stick one more time and the system booted. It then proceeded to pass memtest+, boot windows and pass memtest for windows with no error. At this point I am thinking that I am going crazy, as I know the memory was dead last night.
Anyway, I switched off the PC and tried to boot again....this time like last night no go, and again its just that one stick that has the problem. Take it out and the system boots, put it back in and it doesn't (even just on its own, I cleared cmos again, etc).
So the memory is defo buggered, but why would it just come back to life like that for no reason, work perfectly for a bit and then keel over and die again for seeming no reason?
Is this that electro-migration that Oscar was talking about?
