Doesn't splitting the flow like that hamper the effectiveness of the block? I would think that flow eddies, or very little flow at all happens in that little extra area on the left side of the block. Once that little turn area fills with water, hydrostatic pressure will force the flow through the shortest route, leaving that area stagnant.

Blocks are single slot.
The channels are designed the small chip gets totally enought water, ad it does not heat that much.
Single-slot enough for me to run tri-SLI and a sound card between them, Eddy?

it doesnt need to be a true single slot block because the card itself is a dual pci slot card.
The oversized pci holder will destory the point in it being a single slot block. If you do change the pci holder to a single slot holder, then i can see the need for a single slot block.
But now a days motherboard companies arent being too stupid and putting pci-e's next to each other.
Ya, but on a board like the evga x58 you need a single slot block to use the pci-e 1x for a soundcard. It doesnt have a slot above the first pci-e 16x.Quote:

I'm guessing it will, but it may depend on how high you need to set your Vcore and other voltages to get to 4GHz. The 285s also seem to run cooler than the older models. I'm not saying it will be optimal, but it's worth a shot. You may need higher RPM fans on the radiator, and you'll also want to have good airflow in your case.Quote:
