Just ran this .... This memory is awesome :-)
Hey, guys! I want to buy another kit of 2133 8-9-8-24.
Is there someone that lives in Germany or Australia to help me?
I found online stores at these countries.
Thankss!
Check out www.memoryc.com. It's out of stock right now but you can put in your email in for stock notification email.
You won't be very successful at least in germany, the mems are listed but not available, afaik there is only amazon de left with a single kit.
2133 CL8D-4GBXMD's pcb...

Same pcb and still a lot of stock @ Newegg...The only drawback is you probly have to bin it:D

@ Dumo
good looking out, that is a good find especially since this memory is almost impossible to find:up:
Don't expect too much of these kits, same pcb doesn't mean same ics, the best kit of the 1333 c7 I had did 1068 9-10-9 on sb with 1,63v, not scaling above this v. nonetheless these are relatively good mems at this price especially
Gskill flooded newegg with 100s of these 1333 sets which probly 2133 rejects.
I'll try a few sets just in case Gskill binner misplaced a few 2133. Lol
@Dumo
Please let us know if you find some worthy (hidden) gems.
Got a few of C7..Different PCB (single sided) good for 24/7daily rig @ stock spd only:)
2133 C8 new batch back in stock...black pcb:(

It seems only the early samples had the green pcb. Even my second kit from NewEgg back in mid-march had the black pcb but at least the price has come down... back then they were still $159.99 per kit! Does your green kit seem to have better quality ic's and clock higher?
dumo are the black pcb still bbse?
tell me quick before they're all gone again :(
@Bad...I havent strip it off
@PR...So far no 6-9-6 2133+ with the black ones
Heres black pcb C8 @ 1.72V and UD7-B3.
This 2600K max @ 105.6 BCLK
Will play with AMD next
http://img851.imageshack.us/img851/3...nshot005hb.jpg
Can your new kit do 7-9-7-24 2133 with ~ 1.65v?
heh, i only take of the heatspreader on certain memories. these are too nice to risk damaging them, so leave the heatspreaders on and trust you have bbse.
anyways, some c8 fun? (is c8 fun?)
heh. 8gb.

Yep, with slight bump on VTT and Vcsa
Nice run Zen, are those black pcb?
Heres black pcb @ 2133+ 1.64v and a 2600K with hot cores..

Any real stability test on them clocks zeneffect ? are they 24/7 stable at them clocks ?
Nice shopping trip, luckily I have around 50 gb BBSE and Hyper left running and some 2200 c7 psc, these are all not available in europe so I stopped selling yesterday after getting rid of my last 2000 c7 hypers. and I agree with leeghoof, wprime is no ram test
no kidding, 2 kits of the 2133 8-9-8 for $240 shipped was a no brainer.
I also have some GTX3 coming to add to the 2200 7-10-10-27 PSC kits, but sadly no hypers in my arsenal
32M is what is needed to see memory stability, regardless, the newer kits seem to clock well also, not sure how they compare to the older ones but I can't wait to see.
why does everybody want the green pcb? 8 layer? if blacks and greens clock to the point where the cpu/imc is the only real limiting factor, then whats the practical diff?
If i could afford it, id pick up another set or 2. these are by far the best kit of benching ram that have come out for sandybridge platform.
Good ram should do at least 32M or 3d stable;) wprime isn't even as good a test for bench mems as 1M :D - and btw, ram doesn't influence wprime score at all, 1333 and 2133 are all the same results ^^. I didn't ask for prime but was only interested if these are able to do benches that at least get some load on the mems, wprime is like screen stable :)
I care less with 32m and those stability stress tests, only bench 3Ds for fun and it served me well:)
These rams go to temporary benching rig anyway...not for 24/7 stable daily machine.
This is good enough for me...

B/way heres with AMD rig...
http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/940/screenshot003rs.jpg
@ dumo... thanks! i think i will get these soon
if i may ask what ram do you use for 24/7? i use just some 1600cl9 patriot (16gb)..
was a cheap 2133 16gb kit lol
if i may ask... where did you find the cl7 ripjaws x? they seem to clock better than the cl7 pi counterparts...
i have 8gb of gskill pi 2200cl7
4gb gtx3
4gb of some old 2000cl9 trident bbse
and for 24/7 i have 16gb of some patriot ram (i think hynix bfr)
for quad channel i think i am only able to use the gskill pi :( gotta buy 2 sets of these... hopefully they don't sell out by tuesday
Hey Dumo, hows kicking?
Thanks for information, lets see if any will hit stock in EU
NewEgg now went back "out-of stock" on this kit.
Hope they are still quality ram.
I will post results when they get here but here are my older sticks

thanks but I don't exactly remember vdimm, but I am guessing 1.8vdimm, 1.0875vccio and 0.91250 vccsa
thanks bud however it died on me before I ever got a chance and Fry's was sold out when I went to swap it so I have to grab another one.
some kid bought 3 kits yesterday from newegg... lol
Must be a kid with too much money :D - I bought 16GB of BBSE performing similar for the price of one kit at memc the last couple of months
http://www.abload.de/thumb/10026-8-6-24164vmp90.jpg
lol
I bought 2 kits and I am not a kid, and they were about $50 less this time than last time, $230 shipped for both kits. If you think $230 is a lot of money well that sucks for you it sounds like you might need to find another hobby;) No need to hate, just getting ready for sb-e and bd and I jumped on it because this is really nice memory especially for the price.
and websmile that is some nice clocks on the 2000 9-9-9 sticks what volts?
not you bro, some guy i know bought 3kits. so you got 2 kits. you guys are lucky those are awesome kits:D
Probly another stock refresh @ Newegg then EOL. Lol
1,64 volts VDimm, 1,07 VCCSA. 230$ for 8 GB of this ram is an acceptable price, is more or less what I paid for my two kits. But to be honest, at times of price drop I won´t pay 143 euros+ shipping anymore , which memc wants for the kit, this is more than 200 Dollars for 4GB. I paid a lot more for some of my hypers, but as I know where to look and what to buy I prefer getting my BBSE cheaper^^. Which doesn´t mean I´m not tempted every time I see these at Memory C :D
loud you are scoring alot better than me on the last post, was that win7?
i guess 100Mhz on cpu and better tRAS makes a difference?
i bought these for 40 dollars
http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/3531/696sp32m.png
tRFC was @ 95 iirc
@ Owikh...You're all set for SB-E:up:
nice, its always good to be ready for X79!!!!! I am so excited!
Then I hope you are lucky and get same ICs on the new kit as you have on the old ones, if not you will have to improvize :D / same SPD etc is overrated in my opinion anyways^^- same ics are sufficient :)
http://www.abload.de/thumb/8gb160020001070c832ma3h9.jpg
Hoard up all of the PSC you can find.
The prices are going to bounce once BD is out

Awesome clocks there guys:up:
Now save those rams for 2700K or FX8150:D
this is sort of unrelated... Im doing a little pre-testing right now for the before trying more. ive finally figured out how to run the z68xp-ud4 with higher bclk... turns out i was overcomplicating the issue. so far, bclk has exceeded what was capable on the p8p67-pro using the same chip and memory.
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f2.../Capture-8.jpg
see what i did there? ;)
this was on green pcb btw if anybody cares. Jan 2011 sticks.
that is abuse! try it with 4 sticks? :D
cant get tighter than 8-9-8 with 4 sticks.
dont like the full blown windows 7 x64 ultimate pi? I dont either, but im tuning here because im lazy like that. i will os change and re-run "later"
efficiency/os doesn't matter, I know you got it already :D
It would be nice to bench 2700K at the same time FX released:D
Awesome clocks :D - board will not limit you in my opinion btw, none of five boards I had did less than 107bclk, with different really bad cpus as I'm out of hwbot for a long time now and have no need to select cpus I take what I get xD. As for 4 sticks, I think we talked about this before, same with me, 8-9-8 with BBSE, better timings are not possible on various boards
typically on air my cpu can only do 104.2 bclk on both asus boards i have and the ud7. z68xp-ud4 ive already passed 106.1 which is .2 higher than what i could achieve on asus while cold... though i need to play with skew options more with m4e.
Same ram and cpu max @ 108.7 BCLK with P67-UD7 and 106ish BCLK on P67-UD7 B3
Time to start prepping for 2700K, hopefully it will be easier this time around:up:
hey guys.. i realize this might not be the place for it, but is it ok to run 1.72-1.74 vdimm 24/7 on sb?
if not then what is the max you guys recommend?
i need it for my hypers :( and my bbse can hold 7-9-7-20 1T 2200MHz with 1.74v also changed tRFC and subtimings for better efficiency
for 24/7 just use the xmp, then jack up the cpu multi to something stable with 1.3volts. easy :D
for 24/7 i do just about the same thing. only diff is, i set cpu multi to 46x, the rest is auto. so... clear cmos, set xmp, cpu multi 46. the board takes care of the rest ;)
then again, honda and I may be assuming too much... you are using a K processor arent you badatgames18?
smart man :D
and mr bad, don't enable pll overvoltage :)
KEEP PUSHING IT
http://odoc.dk/files/reviews/mem/gsk..._69620_32m.jpg
nice vdimm on bbse oli
keep Gskilling it
@ oliver... way to push those sticks!
finally got my hands on some today.. from local store!!
just ran it with 1.65v and this is what i got so far
http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/6...ncytesting.gif
on worst chip in my binn :)
i think i have a 57or58x(still have to confirm)... gotta learn waza first though  :(
here are subtimings... any tips?
