Can't wait till you snag some of those ECOs and show us what are they capable of! ;)
What is considered max safe vdimm for these hypers?
stop "talking" about performance, please show it (against some 2000 7-7-6)
too bad they don't come in a triple pack for the p6t
Iīve bought 1 kit of these ram. Looks very nice, but for this time I tested only def freq and timing with low voltage :p:

It's stable as can be at these specs besides the fact Dragon age doesn't like it.. but, I can play L4d2 for midnight marathons no problems... Dang games.. lol
Got these on the 24th.. One of the best kit I have ever had.. besides my tri-channel tridents
http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...lat2200mhz.png
That was on my EVGA p55 ftw
nice kit, thx for sharing looks cool also.
Thx, I really love these sticks. Wish my Xigmatek Thor's Hammer didn't make it to where I couldn't use the fan that came with it. But, once the case is rebuilt I'll have it.
what Vdimm you used?
1.73v for the first screen, and 1.60v for the second.
nice!
I have a little problem with this kit and P55-GD80 mobo. When I set more than 1,67V on high freq (2350+++), system no post or freeze during posts, or freeze in windows :shakes:
I donīt know. Iīve used 2:12
hm today I will test system with 2:10 divider and any other sticks. thank you for response :)
btw: VTT was about 1,35 and 1,45V. I think, this is not small VTT
please tell us all your settings and options you set in bios
cooling you are using on cpu
i tested a lot of 860 and 870 and can say +95% of them goes over 3600 uncore with 1.35
if u used 2:12 so you had lower Bclk and lower uncore.
ok, for cpu:
200BCLK
VTT 1,33V (200BCLK rock stable) but tested up to 1,45V
PLL 1,81V
PCH 1,08V
qpi 3600MHz (7200)
DRAM only up to 1,66-1,67V
cooling: water or SS -45° without any change...
for memory:
timing is from the XMP profil, after I was manual set TRFC and dividers...
for 2390MHz on ram is this setting OK, but 2400+ is impossible.
If you put higher vdim with default settings then its all OK ?
Can you try them in other MB?
yes, if I have memory on a default (2,2GHz CL7) then I can set voltage to 1,85V+ and system post without any problems.
I donīt have other mobo :(
MSI set right MEM spd?
i mean you have to try cl +3 = Trcd
example if you want use Cas 7 you have to use 10 like tRCD
best way :
set 2200 7-10-10-27-5-88 1.65 and boot
check Everest timings and write them somewhere, then reboot and set exactly same settings in bios
it's tRRD
try 2:12
I think, this is mobo or CPU but 2400 is impossible for 32M SPI...
some results with small frequency

Thanks hiwa! :)
 Thanks for sharing this. What VTT do you guys set for 2000 CL6 ??
he some nice results there borec
Kentaro
dipend
for
200 Bclk
3600 uncore
2400 mem
i need 1.37 on my 870 and 1.32 on my 860
for 4100 uncore and high bclk with high mem i need 1.50 to 1.60 ;)
My VTT is about 1,35V:)
Courier have tried two days in a row to deliver these sticks to me. Why they can't just call..
Can't wait to fire them up! Seems to be perfect kit for low Cas values.
look like finland courier is same as italy
try them under cold and u will see :D
Thanks for sharing
:)It seems these kits can go lower CAS at high frequency than Ripjaws do.
2000 CL6 with 1.65V looks nice. Is anyone going to try it on X58 platform??
2000 6-9-6-24-88-5 1.62 200 X 19

2050 6-9-6-24-88-5 1.65

i don't think that linx is a good memory stability tool
Try y-cruncher's stability test or WPrime (WPrime doesn't work for me and it's not as effective, though).
ics of this kit?
Iīdont know..
are renamed.
Iīve posted foto of ICS on this thread;)
Just got a hold of my kit that came directly from G.Skill. Major props to TweakTown for the gift.
Ordered a P55 board last night, so no testing until next week. :(
I wonder if I could get some decent results out of my X58? :yepp:
Just recieved this sticks week ago.
Very interesting one.
Guys, do you have problems with command rate and dual chanel mode ?
Starting to play..... :D

http://img689.imageshack.us/img689/8094/gskill2600.png
MY personal Idea :
They are same but different category, means for example Elpida sell mem manufactories BBSE but are all BBSEs are same? :D
they have a lot of categories with same name, manufactories binn good ic for their highend product (Class A), and ... :)
all memories from 1600 cl6 to 2250 cl8 are Hyper but they are not same in performnace as we saw before.
PIS is binned IC from last IC's and ECO is mainstream series. :yepp:
BTW nice freq Dedal cpu under cold?
borec The problem is setting high freq at low CL, but prolem is all about CPU's IMC. When you set different Command Rates for cannels, it can helps me to set +70-80MHz with fully working dual channel mode. :)
hiwa thanks, cpu and memory is still on air. I need to do more preporation before do some subzero job;)
Did your sticks scaling after 1.72v ?
Should be quite impressive on a E762. Will definitely be compatible.
Thank you

Thanks bro.
It is somthing wrong with official F6 bios for P55-UD6, cant enable 2200CL7(7-10-10-28) at 1.65v
With F6b bios there are no problem.
I think ECO is very good mems. Some times a little better than PIS, especially with lower timing. But I think his life is very degraded when you pull it on 1,65V+ :)
I will post here few screens from my tests, cause there is no point doing new thread. I got this kit last week after two week delay. Fedex did not do their job as good as usually.
I used cheap ASUS P7P55D Pro motherboard and my i7 870 is the worst of it's kind. On this board, absolutely max bclk is 213MHz
This issue was limiting my tests quite badly, when I tried to find the maximum stable clockspeeds.
These following results should be easily repeatable in any setup, cause my system parts are so crappy.
Setup:
2x2GB G.Skill F3-17600CL7D-4GBPIS (DDR3 2200 7-10-10-10-28 1.65V)
ASUS P7P55D Pro

After this CL 8 run my BCLK was getting too unstable. This CPU just can't do more on this board :p:
Will need to try later on some more suitable mobo + CPU combo.
Very easy memory kit from G.Skill
Special thanks to Frank! ;)
DAMNNNNNNNNNN!
Thank you for showing me that ram can run smoothly on asus p55.
I'm getting one soon then!
Anybody tried this kit with MSI GD65?
From the product website, it states that it works with GD80
Works great on the GD 55 and 65 as well.
Thank you
GSKILL TECH
Nice clocks petri, asus is not good for high bclk :(
GSKILL TECH
Thanks there mate!
anyone know if these F3-17066CL9T-6GBPS are elpida hyper? or how are they clocking on x58? (I have a Gigabyte X58A-UD7 mobo and I7 920)
The F3-17066CL9, are BBSE not the Hyper.
thanks
hi all.,just wanna ask.,is this ram compatible with asus maximus iii formula..?
I test it on P7P55D WS SUPERCOMPUTER, works great.
Seems with all Asus mobos there are no problem.
tq dedal..
Tested by me on :
Gigabyte P55 UD5,Ud6,UD7
eVGA E657,E658,E659
Asus p7p55d Deluxe
SF3D used asus P7P55D Pro
Dedal used Super computer
Gskill tech confirmed MSI GD55 and GD65, ASUS Max III Formula
Will update
ASUS Max III Formula is surely compatible. We work very closely with ASUS, so almost all of their motherboards should have no issues as long as it is supported. For basic users, enabling the XMP will be able to set everything just fine.
Thank you
GSKILL TECH
Work on EVGA P55 FTW as well.
However using 2:10 multi with this kit will have no boot issue.
To overcome this, SET the MCH Strap to 1333 or 1600 Mhz. For 2:12, Set to 1867Mhz. If you use 2:10 and 1867Mhz strap combination the MB will go to an infinite boot loop so don't try this. I'm at A51 BIOS.
For Asus P7P55D-Deluxe, with 1202 or 1207 BIOS it should be working fine with any DRAM Multipliers, older versions will only work @2:12 divider when using Core i7-800 Series processor.
Hope this help
Having some problems with the latest GD-65 paired with clarkdale and this ram
Bios seems to lock QPI ratio and XMP mode
Though i doubt the xmp mode will work for clarkdale

Hello guys!
I have some memory overclocking OC-session.
First of all I reacherd max-freq on G.Skill F3-17600CL7D-4GBPIS
Setup:
- Core i7 860 (crappy one)
- GIGABYTE P55-UD6 (F7c Bios)
- G.Skill F3-17600CL7D-4GBPIS
- GeForce 7900GS
- WD VelosiRaptor 1600HLFS
- Enermax Revolution 1050W
- LN2 Pot "Forsage" New !
I test it with dual channel mode, soon I want to test it single channel.
I mount small LN2 pot on memory, sorry but i forget to make foto.
Tempereture on memory was ~(-80c) and optimal vDDR was 1,7v.

Thanks hiwa
Yes, yes I test about 10 retail CPUs and all are piece of ... )))
are i7 860/870 imc that bad ? never tried one yet still on my first i5 750 and imc is very nice so far :)
Don't make a bad move like what I did........got myself an i3 530
I didn't spend much time playing with the rams yet........
but so far I only managed to go up to 1820cl8 on MSI GD65
***need to find myself a better cpu.......any recommendations ;)***
