good to see someone else giving parallel gpus a go, and your spot on with that fill line placement as it will act as a mini res to stop your top card from running dry.

THe SATA cable looks good too ;)
If I may ask, did you buy those plastic p-clips, sleeving, and heat shrink locally or online? Thanks.
i didn't know u can use any vga card as a dedicated physx card
You did a great job none the less on that sleeving Joe. I do like that cable management
kibbler, dunno bout the shrinks and sleeves but P-clips are easy to find at your local hardware store...
even Home Depot should have em...
if all else fails, do not fear, McMaster's here...
/queue Mighty Mouse Music...
scroll down to 3rd group in that page.
;)
'the big squeeze' .. nice call!
P-clips I get it locally [SG] and sleeve/heat shrink mix local and online.
Thanks bro!
:yepp:
Great looking build! I have two questions:
I have a build in progress that will be employing GTX280's and EK blocks. Where did you get the material for the standoffs as seen in this picture? I want to manufacture my own and you look to have the materials all figured out.
And, what is the light box you're using for the pictures? I need to get something along these lines and you're seems to be a good size.
Thanks in advance!
i've seen some sign companies use led strips that looks mighty nice... you know, the kind of signs that have thick plexi on top with engraved logo, lit from bottom... they used to have those ugly LED's but now they have a very thin LED strip...
you can ask your local sign shop for some sources...
Fill those tube!

damn that orange fluid looks good in those EK blocks :D
Its extremely murdermod inspired but I absolutely love the originality initiative you took to make it your own creation
Thank you for the quick reply!
What is the inside and outside diameter of the Teflon tube?
In relation to the lightbox, I'm talking about the background you're using in the pictures. I assume all your pictures are taken are in some sort of light box or photo cube?
Again, many thanks!
I believe its something simpler.
:)
Will let Joe answer that qn
Thanks Sniipe! I need to learn photography from you ... your pics really awesome!
The Teflon tube I used ... 4mm OD 2mm ID. For the pics background, I'm using big white canvas cover my working table and the wall behind it. I don't have any pro photography tools. I wish I have those gadget oneday. :)
Edit: I believed a good lens play a big role here ...
Looks awesome
Congratulations Joe - you've done an exceptional job!
Outstanding overall visual design and of course, stellar execution and presentation.
Bravo Sir!
Great build!
Love those P Clips, great for organazing cables. Can't find them anywhere and i think McMaster don't deliver internationaly :(
Any pics of the front cover in the case ? :D
Alright. . . . MDPC submission when this is done.
Awesome work.
What are the temps on those GPU's? Does the fillport affect anything?
I'd say the fill port in no way affects gpu temps. I hope this guy only turned on the pump on the window side when filling up his res. Otherwise how do you fill this loop up without damaging the pumps?
Oh and to all the people going who are in love with the fill port, it's not something new, the first murdermods had this too :D. Steffen's was smart because you can see how the pump has a constant supply of water. Still, you'd have to be careful about filling it up . . . . man, having a res is so much easier lol.
Yep, I know it's nothing new but for some reason I noticed it more this time :)
the orange juice looks almost tempting to drink... hahaha...
i like how this is turning out! but sadly, i guess this worklog is nearing its end :(
It makes me want some Fanta [haven't had it for years].
congrats on the nice response on your build bro.
system's looking good as usual
:)
Thanks to you Charles! Part of it is your brainchild. You da man! :p:
http://cableorganizer.com/
Will post the front side after get back my cam ...
Mine is to far away for that standard ...
If murdermod in Singapore ... all modder in asia region will be :banana2::banana::rehab::banana3::party:
The temp is good tho ... for single loop.

+1
For the look ... nice!:p:
Haha! ;) don't worry bro! Ver.2 is coming!
I want that too ... are they still selling?
:p:
Thanks to you for the poison ... senior!
+1000 for that one! ;)
Bro, those grommets that you use on the holes in the motherboard tray is also from SLT ?
great workkk
pics would look more sweet if you could work on the tones though :D
Yes ... SLT. I think at basement or 3rd floor. ;)
SLT had them but all white color ... :p:
Thanks! I will improve on that ... still a lot of thing to learn about photography.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Guys, now I'm in Hong Kong so no update at the moment. Wait till I get back! Cheers! :)
Hey JoeChuo, where do you get these mosfet heatsinks? Did you cut the heatpipe???
http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...C_5471copy.jpg
Those are the stock heatsinks aren't they? :)
the heatpipe connecting the top mosfet heatsink to the side mosfet heatsink is a separate one from the one connecting the side mosfet heatsink to the northbridge heatsink. The pictures below illustrate this. i guess JoeChuo removed the heatpipe connecting the side mosfet heatsink to the northbridge heatsink so that he could still use both mosfet heatsinks.
http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...C_5454copy.jpg
http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...C_5456copy.jpg
Yes, Fanta is available in many places. I believe it is Coke product now.Quote:
I want that too ... are they still selling?
Gotta answer the important questions, right?
oops! Forgot the Fanta website.
http://www.fanta.com/
I'm going to buy some Fanta tomorrow. lol
Just finished reading the complete worklog, and now need to find a towell to clean up the drool. Very impressive, outstanding planning and execution, the attention to detail is second to none. Great work!
Back to this awesome theme :)
JoeChuo i have one question about SLI connectors:
http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...C_6178copy.jpg
You used two - tell me how it works with temps of gpu's and flow ?
Sooo , on this screen are stress/idle temp. 41 idle, 50-52 stress.
Nice ;)
Dang it, this is the first time i've seen this build and now i feel like i've copied half your ideas for my project :( . oh well, i'll be happy if i can pull it off half as well as you have
btw apologies for bumping an old thread again
