    Smile DNABOX ver.1

Hi Guys! Have been long time drooling and admiring the great builds from this forum. Got activated today [Thanks to Bianco]. So finally, I can post and share with you my first attempt at water cooling. Actually this project is already finished months ago. I learned a lot from the other worklogs here, so please pardon me if it seems that i have copied them. I welcome all comments and advice from you guys! Cheers!

    "DNABOX"

The above name is the brainchild from my previous system that I already done a major upgrading - Three times EVOLVING!. - seemed appropriate considering the context of the this build. Thanks to Bro Bianco for the idea of the HELIX sign!!

Now before I get into more details of this log I would like to thank the following sponsors of this build:

Cool another build in Singapore! Be prepared to sometimes pay 150% in shipping Isn't it great??

Oh well. Since shipping sucks so much, feel free to ask if any locals have unused parts. Spare fittings, barbs, crimp terminal housing, etc., I/others maybe willing to part with some of it. Beats donating to the postal service.

    Good luck!

    [Custom Faceplate, Backplate & Midplate]

I like the idea of reversed atx on Silverstone TJ-07 case. In order to do that I need to custom design the backplate ... I also design the sidepanel, faceplate and midplate too. Too bad the time I'm building MurderMod online store not operation yet.

Here is the design that I created using Google SketchUp. All the design is fabricated [laser cutting], powder coating and anodizing process.

    The Faceplate

    The Backplate

    The midplate

    The Sidepanel [TBD]

    Finished products >>

    Start with faceplate >>

    DNABOX comes alive!

    Backplate >>

    Midplate >>

    Enjoy!

Let's start with the small mod first!
    1. Front PCB cover aka murdermod style using the electronic box.
    2. Change the LED from the original blue to orange to match the logo color.
    3. Sleeve the cable!

    Aaah! It's fit!

    Trail mount ...

Sleeved! My first sleeving using Techflex PET sleeve ... look good!

    Done!
