That's cool, temporarily you can view the cached page on google.
Alright, as promised the DDR2 RAM List is back online.
It's been a hell of a ride to get it up again, and I'm still working on the DDR and Micron DDR2 IC Info page.
Again my apologies for any inconvenience. I hate it when other sites go offline and now have to cope with it myself.
Kind regards.
Thanks r00n. I wish someone would know what chips would be on my corsair 5400c4 ddr675 rev7.2... It are 10x10MM chips, I can see for the side..
Nice r00n
I am glad that the list is back

Out of these two, which would you go with? The 1st kit is rated at 4-4-4 and according to the ram list uses mosel chips. The second kit is rated at 5-5-5 and not on the ram list but through the forums i've heard that it's Elpida chips.

Btw, I'm not sure if that was my part number, I already requested them earlyer and he couldn't find anything. I guess i'll remove a heatspreader and find out...
At the other guys who also have rev 7.2, are your chips 10x10mm too? You can check on the side of the ram and then measure.
Yes. PSC stands for Powerchip Semiconductor Corp.Quote:

Only thing to keep in mind is that some ICs will get unstable when using higher voltages.
In the end it all comes down to trial and error.
Despite the fact that it will probably be PSC, let me know what's underneath. :)Quote:

under cellschock it says: CS2111041 / CS2221041 what does that mean? is it only those that use the D9gmh, or do all the cell chock use those (besides the D9GKX )
oh and wich isbetter D9GKX or D9Gmh?
really that list is awsome. thank you for doing it :)
GKX is better than GMH(slightly)
If you got PC8000 C4 then it is 100% GKX otherwise it could be GMH or GKX
That's just the difference between 1x1024MB and a 2x1024MB kit.Quote:

I opened one side, but it there's just a corsair logo under it and some text, nothing I can use to indentify IC's. They'll do Cas4-4-4-12 at 400, 1.95v- 2v, for me, so I'm happy. Btw, we live in the same country :D
As I say... 6400C4D v1.1 - it's Micron D9.Quote:

for remarked chips best way beside their size, is to look at the size and the location of the dot in the corner and try finding pics of various chips and compare......of the top of my head (i couold be wrong), micron has a "bigger" dot in the corner, psc also bigger a little bit further in, infenion has a smaller dot, elpida -e6 has a bigg dot in one corrner and two small dots in other two corrners, etc.....Quote:

2GB 2x CM2X1024-8500C5D XMS8505v1.2 0648081-2 = Micron, 64Mx8 800 CL5 Rev D
It is my understanding these are Micron D9GKX (B6-25E) Handpicked
As it appears there quite a few other PC8500C5D DOMINATOR's on the list have the same IC's.
I just think it would be nice to add this to here http://ramlist.ath.cx/ddr2/
It currently states these are only Micron D9GMH (B6-3) Handpicked
I know it was said that RAM GUY has this covered as he definitly does, but the ramlist is easier to read and people refer to this list in many different forums.
I don't think I have to take dominators apart to confirm. Being RAM GUY is the man...
I currently have these at 726MHz w/ 3-3-3-9-12 1:1 w/ CPU at 3.267GHz w/ FSB at 363MHz.
Need new PSU to push it. This is with stock voltage minus DRAM which is 2.2v any more at this point will void my warranty. I am sure these will do 800MHz cas3 with 2.4 as the PC6400C3DF DOMINATOR 3.0-4-3-9 @ 2.4V which would put my computer in a nice place CPU at 3.6GHz with FSB at 400MHz.
Thanks.Quote:

Anyone have any luck with Nanya 667 64m x 8 CL5 IC's, or know how well they overclock.
I hear PROMOS don't OC that well but never really hear anything about these Nanya's.
I hear they used to be poor overclockers, most of these reviews are from quite a while ago. My understanding is they are made in Singapore. Now they are pumpin out IC's with decent speeds. Wondering if anyone has info on them. I browse and never really hear that much as of lately.
Well I just got a fresh order of 2x1GB DDR2-PC6400 Crucial Ballistix RAM from ZZF, and the chips are not D9GMH! They are D9DCL. Since when did they start using DCL?
In any case, should I exchange these for something else? They don't seem like they are good for overclocking from reports here.
thanks,
mike

I'm wondering what IC's are on the OCZ FlexXLC modules (PC9200 and the newly released PC6400). Anyone have a clue?
If I would have to guess: the PC6400 is Micron D9GMH and the PC9200 is D9GKX, but the question is are they Handpicked?
It would be awesome if the PC9200 has Handpicked Micron D9GKX and they have that good-looking cooling-system on it. That would make it the best DDR2 ever IMO!
For now, the Corsair PC8500 Dominator looks to be the best if they have Handpicked D9GKX-chips, too bad they don't have the watercooling option, tough...
The dominators use D9GMH (except the PC6400C4D) , the OCZ FlexXLC 90% D9GMH and the PC6400 mostly none D9 but we will know for sure later
lol all the d9 seems to be going into higher than 6400 now days....are there any current 6400 sticks that use it

BTW r00n you may want to remove link from http://ramlist.ath.cx/ddr2/
for IC inquiry thread.
http://www.houseofhelp.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=44365 has been revamped to only look up DDR IC's and to find DDR2 memory IC Inquiry you have to go here http://www.houseofhelp.com/forums/sh...posted=1#specs
"Due To changes in Part Number mapping DDR2 memory IC Inquiry will be moved to a new section and it will no longer be needed to provide us with the part,# and Lot code information to look up the IC's we used." quote from RAM GUY in IC inquiry page.
This is unfortunately isn't very informative anymore for our needs and we may have to start ripping off heatsinks to be 100% sure.
I'm glad I got my inquiry in before this changed.
I corrected the link on my page. Thanks for notifying me.Quote:

Yeah I wasn't trying to bash him he helped me out when I needed him. I am asking him to go back to old way in new link for everyone else's sake.
I was happy to find out I had 4GB of this magical Micron D9GKX IC's. My memory is cool to the touch with Dominator heatsinks and fan.

Your the man too r00n. Your RAMLIST is being used by people all over the internet. :)
I like your nice new pics of IC's you have too.
I would like to see some pics of these Rhino's I can't find them at all I have been looking for some time. They sound like nice modules.
Hi there... I would like to know about somethig in my Teamgroup memory modules...
They are te Xtreem PC2-5300 3-3-3-8 (TXDD2048M667HC3DC) and in CPU-z it says there week 40 year 06.
Searching the list by my memory model i can see they are Micron D9GMH (B6-3)...
What i want to know is if this specifications are allways the same for all weeks in 06 year!!!! And what does (B6-3) means and if this is also the same in every wek of year 06!!!
best regards...
It is not always the same but in your case it is the same, team xtreme uses only D9GMH and the B6-3 is related to Micron Binning B6 refer to the size and -3 is the rating by Micron @ 1.8V 333MHz 5.0-5-5Quote:

And in the memory package label is written 2.0v-2.2v and in this data sheet i can see 1.8v. Wich one is the most accurate info???

The data sheet is related to the ICs info provided by Micron , then team get those ICs and test them at certain speed and that is written on your Kit , sometimes you need to tune them manually so run @ advertised speeds provided by team then we can get into overclockingQuote:

Thnaks for the simple and direct answer...
Look, i have TG Xtreem 3-3-3-8 PC2-5300 Micron D9GMH that i think are good ones and i have seen lot of people reaching DDR2-1000 or DDR2-1200 or even DDR2-1300 in i680sLI stable enough to run Super PI at least 1M, run Everest memory benchmarks, SisSoftSandra memory Bandwith and more.
But i cant figure out why i cant.
My system is
E6600
Abit AW9D-MAX
TG Xtreem PC2-5300 Micron D9GMH 3-3-3-8
Spaphire X1950XT
and i have been trying to overclock them up to DDR2-1000 but no success.
I have tried the following:
E6600 @ 3600Mhz -> 9x
FSB - 400
vCore - 1.40v
vMCH - 1.80v
Mems 4:5
vDimm 2.25v->2.30v->2.35v->2.45v and
timings :
4-4-4-4 | 4-4-4-10 | 4-5-4-10 | 4-4-5-10 | 4-5-5-10 | 4-5-5-12 | 5-5-5-15 | by SPD
and i couldnt even finish loading windows... I cant understand why.
Can anyone give me a help pr tell me the reason i cant??? I'm doing anything wrong??? Is that i975x so bad for overclocking memories??? I know that 965 is away better than 975 for FSB overclocking but i think i should get at least DDR2-1000 stable...
regards...
Try upping your vcore to 1.45v or lower your multiplier to see if it's your cpu
I had tryied 340FSB with 2:3 and multi 9x but system goes down after a few minutes...Quote:

I used some supertalent 667 but only 512 sticks.
Not quite sure what IC they were but they didn't clock that well.

A-Data Vitesta PC2-6400 Extreme Edition is no longer D9GCT / D9GMH.
They are using relabeled ProMos now.
Any idea what kvr667 is? I've got a single sided 512mb stick. Looks to be a square bga style packaging. writing on ic has been erased and custom writing by kingston put on.

nice to see a fellow dutchman over here r00n ;)
question though, you know if the crucial balistix 5300 3-3-3-12are stil d9gmh ? cause i'm about to buy ddr2 and i need some high clocking stuff for medium price. I can get these for 109.95 euro's. next would be the balistix 6400 4-4-4-12 those are 119.95 euro's. Both are set's of 2x1024 mb. The problem is the shipping, it costs 35 euro's... insane high.
ty
LyP0 they are still D9GMH afaik.
just get them strait of crucial, they're like €93 excl. VAT. a bargain if you ask me :D
here's a link
Think i'm going to buy Gskill pc8500 2gbhk 2x1024 mh ddr2. For the price of 125,90. 1066 mhz guaranteed. 15 euro's more expensive than the crucial 5300. but stock 400 mhz faster.
bought the gskill 8500 2gbhk kit. Still d9gmh :D i got the last set the store had in stock. And a gigabyte ga-n650sli-ds4, hope this will go like hell .
ramlist is down :(
we need to get it to come back up, then mirror it. assuming that would be okay with the owner of the site.

Should I assume that the 4gig Patriot set here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220227 is Elpida since the 2gig is? Mine has a Green PCB.
What Tracer?I know for 6400,they use gct.Higher model probably use gmh
Hell even my sh*t RAM uses D9s, :p: .
AFAIK they still have Micron D9 chips but G.Skill mixed GCT and GMH in the last few months
I have 2 x 512 MB of Kingston Value PC4200 (533). It has PSC chips with the code A3R12E3GEF on them. I so far have them Orthos stable & 25+ runs of memtest test 5 & 8 stable at 458MHz (DDR 916 MHz) at 5-5-5-12 @ 2.16v. I took them up to 486 MHz (DDR 972 MHz) 5-5-5-12 @ 2.16v no problems.
What other ram are these PSC chips used in?
What is their max 24/7 voltage?
