Well, your using two occupied dimms and expecting the same settings to work for four occupied dimms with a quad. Thats not going to happen. Your VTT and is way low and you need more vMCH too. I would start with that and then play with your GTLs, they seem pretty low as well.Quote:
This board definitely does not like my D9 Tracers. I popped in a spare pair of DDR2-800 GSkills and am stable at 3.60GHz with the following:
As soon as I replace the GSkills with the Tracers (and increase the RAM volts and refs accordingly), OCCT will cause BSOD a little after 20 min. Increasing voltages doesn't seem to fix anything.Code:******Gigabyte EP45 UD3P******

Pretty disappointed overall with this board. I was already able to do 3.60GHz with my DFI X38-T2R with 4x1GB Tracers. This board can't even get that high with 2x1GB. I can't justify spending an additional $80 on new RAM just to get the same overclock I could already get with my old board. Also, I find Crossfire on the PCI-e 2.0 (at x8) slower than Crossfire on the PCI-e 1.0 (at x16) on the x38.
I'll give it a couple more days trying for higher than 3.60GHz with the GSkills, but if I can't get it stable higher than that, I'll probably RMA for refund and go back to my old board.
If your running these types of values on your DFI board no wonder it's having trouble resuming from sleep mode and experiencing some random issues.
With all due respect what are you talking about?Quote:
With all due respect, thinking u could go higher then 3.6 on this mobo was a mistake. I mean, ur old one is pretty badass for OC also, and getting more then 3.6 shouldn't be a problem on it aswell. You just weren't lucky with the chip, 1.4v for 3.6 for a Quad is very average to say the least. Well, I hope u'll manage to solve your ram stability issues. But I don't think the upgrade was worth it at all, since u prolly won't get any further on this quad whatever the mobo is, so maybe refunding wouldn't be such a bad idea. After all, ur old DFI is still a very good board, why change it if ur not changing the chip? :) Cheers.
