hello , i'm new here , love the place it's so professional , this intro is becuz this is my 1st post ...
anyway , i got DQ6 and Supertalent DDRII-800 CL4 , i reached 1100 5-5-5-15 , could'nt get the timings more tight ,no matter what more voltage i pumed , though i didn't try to push them further than 1100 ...i didn't test them on memtest but i ran orthos for about 4 hours ....
hey see4, welcome to the forums :D. You might want to run Orthos on a blend test for at least 24hrs to make sure it is fully stable. AFAIK the DQ6 doesn't have a D9 problem but it does have some peculiarities that need to be ironed out. These will be released within this month as far as I can tell.
well , think 4 hours is enough for me , i mean i won't be running any prog that would stress the memory continuesly for more than 3 hours ...but i'll try and run it for a day and let you know ...
I'm sorry, but I have no interest in dropping $250 for a stupid motherboard. Hopefully AMD gets it together soon.Quote:

Because my system is rock stable at 9*400 vcore 1.55v vdimm +0.2v timming 4-4-4-10
But it's really rare that I can boot at this frequency..
Yes, cold boots are a PITA. I hope they fix it.Quote:

Witch bios has a D9 fix ? I got my D9GMH sticks but they don't go further then ~420mhz. On a biostar P965 they does easy 500mhz 4-4-4.
And is there already a bios that let you go select a voltage between 1,6v-1.8v ?
I'am now on bios F3. ( P965-DS3 )
I'm guessing that might have happened.Quote:

Hey. I started a thread here. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=125431Maybe someof you guys with s3/ds3 migh know.
Basically I'm experiencing a halfing of performance in everything from superpi to memory bandwidth. Not sure what started it, but not sure how to fix it. I might try a windows install on another HD and see what that does.
Any ideas.
Just got this system up Saturday night :toast: Runs ORTHOS blend all day, but craps out after an hour or so of small FFTs. No problems at all with the ram on first install. Haven't really spent much time with it yet (work gets in the way of REAL life heh). 1.46 gHz oc on air is mighty impressive. F8i Bios is working for me. Can't wait to get the games loaded and see what this rig will do in FEAR.
Great forums; really helped me prep for this purchase and installation.
Waz ur vdimm and timings?Quote:

Depends on the BIOS settings. If you set AHCI mode (for a SATA burner) then it is only seen as a reader. IDE mode seems to be needed to get burning (under VISTA, at least).Quote:
