omg:rolleyes:,you must test the newest nanoxia fluid!!!seems to be very good;)
the glow effect under uv is very nice so far...the whole test with all fluids will take some month :)

That is the nicest green I have seen. Is that available in the states?
i think only in europe until now, you may ask their support for more infos...

HOLY :banana::banana::banana::banana:, Thats so.. green! looks amazing! what about the price?
Feser One is the best one.
Feser Acid Green looks nearly the same and...as you know...itīs available in the US :)
http://www.abload.de/img/img_4117iix.jpg
Doesn't look the same to me...maybe the plastic of the bottle is tricking my eye.
i made a little test - out of the bottles :) the difference is bigger under UV as with normal light:
http://www.abload.de/img/img_4122vc7.jpg
http://www.abload.de/img/img_4126lwg.jpg
the Nanoxia Iceglow looks nicer under UV.
yeah, it looks greener... however weird that might sound
You can't say that for sure untill it's tested :) It could be possible that Nanoxia is better but that "in the worst situation" it destroys all your block by leaving a green filter on you acrylic tops.
That's a very extreme example but you will only know when a coolant is better then the otherone when you've tested it yourself for a longer periode of time.
The Nanoxia looks to be a bit more opaque under UV.
what about dirty in tubes or reservoirs?
I think we are offtopic.. there's a topic feser vs nanoxia additives?
how do all those compare to distilled water? ... are they better? or do they just look cooler?
Look cooler, Distilled for practicality, UV Reactive for bling, UV Tubing for the best of both :)
In my previous LC i used Feser One Acid green, i think the rig was green enough.:D

funkflix@ Your system is also super;) but these fittings angular have to be flow killer:cool:
I also enjoy a serving of MIPS RAM Freezer in the morning. :D
Nice system. Those 90 degree fittings are just too handy, makes life so much easier by the looks of it.
Why do the Germans always have the good cameras.
Thanks. :)
Eheim 1260 and Laing DDC-1plus in a row will do that without any problem, even with the ~ 10 meters of tubing i have outside of the case. ;)
:D
Thanks.
Don't know mate.. I know a lot more germans without a good camera then with one. :p:
funkflix@ what have you temps?;)
Ten meters of tubing? Pictures are not only wanted, but necessary. :p:

Here's my first attempt at WCing still a work in progress.. I cut out a full window and tinted the plexi with some black smoke window film, had a Swiftech Radbox at first but swapped it out for the Bitspower one looks cleaner to me and it's a solid mount still need to swap out the crappy Zalman FC and get a Scythe Kaze Master, still needs some sleeveing and wire management and better bolts for the rad.
atm still running DD fatboyz and 7/16 tubes gonna switch to 3/8 BP or Feser comp fittings and feser Blue UV tubes and maybe Feser shrouds couple of ccfl's and light it up some, should show up pretty good thru the tint at night.
I know,I know it's not the best case for WCing I was a aircooled freak before but those damn 60+ db Delta's started to get on my nerves so I crossed over to the H2O :rocker:
ROFL:rofl:
12Fans on 1 Rad:up:
HAHAHHAHA omg that rad looks so fat:D:D
I think the inner fans are actually dead fans acting as shrouds.
Looks like a Sanso
I respectfully disagree;) I think that is a fantastic case for watercooling, just like many other cases with a column of 5.75" bays in the front...PERFECT place to drop in a triple rad with room for an hdd cage elsewhere in the case. Nice build nonetheless, that rad + fan assembly in the back is monolithic and fearsome.
3dchipset@ this is only camera reflection;)
still some small things nedd to be changed. but more or less finished:

Guys, two real quick questions
1) Do you think Bitspower 1/2 compression fittings would fit on the EK 250 Reservoir? I planned on using the top connector for the fillport, the bottom connector for Bitspower temperature sensor and the V connectors for IN/OUT, but I just got the 250 Reservoir and the V connectors are pretty close together and Im not sure if 1/2 compression fittings would fit in there.
2) I just got my D-tek Fuzion V2, and it came with this Pro-mount thing and extra screws (which have black o-rings). Should I use this pro-mount and/or the extra screws? I see most people dont use this at all, I see stock mount and stock screws...
Yes
Yes
Great builds guys. I can't wait to get mine done =|
Damn...I'm itching to go at mine! Vincent, hurry up with the new rotaries!!! :p:
Nice setup Schlingel....Like that Lian-Li. Might be my new case before the year is over :)
The Pro mount allows for better mounting pressure, which leads to better temps in most cases. When I bought my Enzotech Sapphire it didn't come with springs, so I got some from the hardware store and cut them to fit on the screws used to mount the block. Much, much more pressure.
Something I never understood...why would kits use spring mounts instead of hardmounts with a simple bolt+nut setup? You're certainly able to control pressure much better without dealing with a spring at all right?
Swapped out my MasterKleer tubing and dye for pre colored Primoflex tubing + straight distilled and PT Nuke (no more clogged blocks from dyes for me!)
I also repainted my swifty rads and painted my Fuzion mount plate for lulz.

Oh please do help me out on this one as I would hate to spend $20 on 2 compression fittings to find out they wont fit in the 250 res!
Why do I keep seeing people NOT using them then?
I dont see the pro-mount been used that much by people in here, is there any reason why?
I had the 250 res from eK, I returned it because it was too big for my case. I did see if my bitspower compression fittings would fit on them. The O-ring doesn't seem to contact enough due to the size of the actual compression fitting. Their isn't enough surface cut out (the flat space around the opening of the threads) to flush it enough. I was going to use the 1/2" OD by 3/8" ID fittings...
Got the camera! :D

Comments are always welcome
RAWR nice builds. It's good to see that the HX520 can run all of that MorGo7h. I was sort of panicking that my HX620 would have a hard time running 6 fans + pump and pc but yeah . . . . . it will be good.
I can think of two reasons:
1) People who change blocks frequently for testing or other reasons may not because the quick mount is just as it sounds....quicker.
2) People haven't realized the correlation yet. I find a tighter block is less prone to have air bubbles in the TIM and just makes better contact.
Finally got time to post my rig.

nice rig Bluto, I was thinking of mounting a Feser 480 like that and stick my triple rad in front, anyway you can show how you mounted your rad? did you just use L brackets?
Found some triangle shaped brackets in Home Depot(sorry ,don't know what you call them) and ran a threaded rod thru all 3 of 'em and cut up some aluminum tune inbetween for stability. The mount is a thermochill pa 120.2 shroud I had lying around. I never move my pc around so this works for me.

There's def something to be said for thicker tubing
Funny, I was just gonna say "Eww, fat tubing." I'd just use compression fittings.
What it looks like now... but it looks different day to day when I'm testing hardware :D

Rad fans and pump are controlled by the MiniNG... Silence is bliss :D
Or when I feel like a little benching they can be turned up for performance
Controlling the 18W DDC pump and 3x1W fans makes the MiniNGs really hot... so just put some thermal tape on the back and stuck it onto the aluminum chassis.
So me and my nephew put together a w/c setup for him. Took us 12 hours roughly, although having bad ram really messed things up from a trouble shooting perspective. Otherwise, we would have had it done in about half the time, :D. He is going to do some sleeving and wire managment when he gets home, other than that I think it came out well. Ambient temps were 26c with idle at 40c and load at 55c for the CPU and the video cards were 33c idle and 38c under load.
Here are the specs:
MM UF2O case
E8400 EO stepping at 4Ghz and 1.36v
4Gb Kingston 8500 Ram
2x 500Gb WD HD in Raid 0
2x HD3870's in CF
DVD Burner
Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3R
Vista Home Premium 64bit
W/C Gear
MCP350 with Petra top
Swiftech MCR320
EK HD3870 Full Cover Water blocks
D-Tek Fuzion V1
Primochill 1/2" ID, 5/8" OD Green UV Tubing
Swiftech Micro Res
Various 1/2" Barbs
3 Scyth 120mm/38mm Fans for Rad
3 Green LED Fans
2 Silenx 120mm for HD cooling
Get Koolance compression fittings, they are just as good as BP's at half the price.
Utnorris
@Utnorris
do have a large vdrop on your board??
we have a same board but i have a large vdrop like .5v something
but nice LCS!
Thanks.
Actually no, I was surprised that the vdroop was around only .02v which is fantastic. I had the Gigabyte P35-DS3R and the vdroop was unreal, so I was hesitant about getting this one for my nephew, but I like Gigabyte from the reliability and user friendliness sides. It was super easy to OC this chip on the board. I was having trouble getting some Kingston ram to work at the rated speed, but I just didn't have the time to fool with it, so I left it at SPD. Anyway, great board for the money and th usability.
