Well, I'm pretty discouraged. I chose the E3110 Q805A165 and the DFI DK P35 board because so many people were touting how easy it was to get to 4GHz. I have done the following:
- 8 x 500FSB
- 1:1 Memory
- VCore over 1.4v (1.37v actual)
- DRAM 2.11v
- NB 1.55v
- VTT 1.1v
- GTL .67/.67/.67
At this point, I have added 250mV to VCore. After that, the additional voltages are in red and I am afraid to go there. Here I paid $140 for a DFI Lanparty DK board, and people are getting to 4GHz on $100 Gigabyte boards. What's worse, I have the Gigabyte DS3L board untouched, unopened in my office. I am staring at it now. I was talked out of a Gigabyte DS3R because the DFI is so much better.
Right now, I am just discouraged and disappointed. :(
