I have a lack of imagination when it comes to trying to picture the dynamics of a cooling loop. For instance, I don't see how variations in flow rate could exist in a continuous path of a loop. I mean, the first molecule of water to pass through any given point in a loop is immediately followed by the very last molecule, if they could so be arranged, right? Ultimately the whole system moves no faster or slower than it can pass through the most restrictive point in the loop - again, right? I've never really considered it before. I really don't know the answer, it just occured to me. Comments please
