Stacker 832 Dual Radiator Cross Fire

Havign Xtreme it (search the forums) didnt come up with some relevant answers. Iam sure there are. so with the fear of doubling up posts here is my question.

I am having my watercooles system with 5 "loops" but this is not the correct word i take, 5 connections on a PA120.3 Rad and iam very happy with the Temps
    Rad->Mosfet 1 -> Mosfet2-> CPU->NB->SB-> Tank->Pump/

I want to go for a dual loop ( 2xpumps 2x Rads) the new one just for the VGA. either gtx295 or HD4870x2

Iam interesting to know if possible to mount a second radiator
ThermoChill PA120.2 Dim: [LxWxD (mm)] 304x128x61
    or
    Feser Xchanger - Double Radiator 240 (New 15mm Spacing) Dimensions: 315 x 150 x 75mm
    or
Black Ice GTX 240 Radiator DIMENSIONS Width 133 mm Height 277 mm Thickness 54 mm

somewhere in the case (note iam using a Thermaltake Toughpower 1200w PSU dimensions: 200 x 150 x 85mm thats a bit restrictive)

Iam thinking of putting it on top Can you pls let me know if any one has done just that? Post some pics if you dont mind.

Second part of the question is. Will the dual rad be enough? Lookign at an other thread http://www.xtremesystems.org/Forums/...d.php?t=219359 where the guys over there believe it will be.
OR maybe what if i put a single rad? will it do it?
if you have done it pls post some temps as well
Any way lets start from here and we take it on.
    Thank you

Thanks for the reply. I have been looking at your worklog, do i know it can be done with standar size psu. On the other hand i dont want to replace mine. Thus a more creative way, possible to exist (might need to cut some more on the chassi)

there is no chance with PA120.2 length 304mm
my psu is 15 or 16cm and i dont have any space already (well maybe only 1cm)
on other hand if u really want to watercool 2 mosfets and 2 chips u may consider pa160 in the roof
or one 160 in roof and one 160 in front for gpu, coz now i am a real fan of centralized mobo cooling thru the heatpipes (like your 1st photo in your log)

    My buddy got the Cool-Matic MBX - P5E (X38)Art.Nr.: 501360 [

it not as good as you think. his temps really arent anywhere close mine

Iam thinking now to place it either at the front or cut a piece of the top and put a dual rad there, where the fan-mess opening is what do you think

i like how mobo cooling done here with dfi x58
    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...8&postcount=25
so that one low restrictive mcw-30 does the same work as 3 or 4 separate blocks

as for dual rad in roof, i dont think u may place it there with big psu, even with standart psu it was a trick
i measured all those things hundreds times :-)

Tom's Hardware - Benchmark Sum of FPS Benchmarks Totals

Lookig at this graph, i think i should go for the SLI Gtx8800 ! what do you guys think?
Cheap option as i dont want to pay the extra $$ for a gtx280 or 295

    I changed my mind
Thinking of getting a HD4870x2 on the same loop
Or at least try it and see what happends. if the temps go high will probably try to fit a second radiator at the front
having said that i still think getting it at the top somehow is better.
I do understad the issue with the dimensions so i might need to cut a part of the top case.
on the other hand if not good iam going to mess up the case
    not an easy choise

Going for HD4870x2 on the same loop and see after that how the load on the radiator is and what the temps are.

The new set up is based on the
    PowerColor HD4870X2 2GB GDDR5

    The EK-FC4870 X2 - Acetal CF

    Technical data:
    - dimensions of copper base: 206 x 118,5 x 7,5mm
    - dimensions oftop: 207 x 119,5 x 8mm
    - threads: 4 x G1/4
    - fittings size: optional
    - weight: 970 g

Iam going to use TFC 3/8 ID , 1/2" OD Compression Fitting

also testing if TFC 3/8" ID - 1/2" OD 45 Degree Rotary Compression Fitting - 1/4" BSPP High Flow

if you dun have much optical & hdd in the case
i would place the rad in front, ie at the 3.25" & 5.25" bay
    place it vertically

I have used both fittings One on the top side of the block and the other on the bottom of the block
    The loop/tuning is coming from the mofset -> mofset-> CPU-> NB->SB->GPU
The Top NB->GPU is using a TFC 3/8" ID - 1/2" OD 45 Degree Rotary Compression Fitting - 1/4" BSPP High Flow
The length of the tubing (NB->GPU) is quite sort and needs to be exact measured to be fitted.
I also used the TFC 3/8 ID , 1/2" OD Compression Fitting , placed it at the bottom . One thing i noticed is that the fitting is quite touching the pcb layer of the vga card. just a half mil and it could have been clear from the pcb.
Will post some pics later on.

I would like to run crossfire. My question is if any one ever try to run a PA 120.3 with Cpu-Gpu-Gpu and what temps you got after that-

My guess is that it will weigh heavily on your ambient temps.

I'm currently running a PA120.3 in series with Black Ice Pro 120 and it is cooling a Q9550 (4.0ghz) & 4870x2. The temps under normal load is fine, but if you Prime95 or IBT it gets up there, high 50's and sometimes 60's. I dare not stress test during summer here in los angeles with my clock speed
