    Nice going charlie

But the big question is, how did you trick the subzero bug. Is it what G H Z is thinking or is there something else to it. I've tried what he said with my prommy but the winnie was unstable as hell in Windows. Hope you can tell us more...

Charlie, when I saw '9 x 291' and the thread's title, I thought you were joking. Then I saw it is actually 11 x 291 . Very nice cpu you've got there.

So your PQI is now doing 290 MHz on your MSI mobo ... what changed or how did you overcome the 260 FSB (I think it was) problem you had ? Newer mobo or what ?

I'd like to know what kinda "trick" was involved. If it's booting up without the cold then applying it once inside windows then almost all of us have been doing that but once the cold really kicks in windows will get really unstable or just freeze up entirely then a no boot issue again.
These chips are a pain in the a s.
If there is indeed a work around for it i'd love to know
