The parts used are exactly the same as parts used in Lian Li cases. Look at the motherboard tray, the hard drive racks, the bottom of the case. If you look in the other thread linked above you can see it even said Lian Li on a sticker on the box.

Man screw my Antec 900 I just bought, I like that case a lot, I have built with a Lian-Li case before and it was a joy to work with. However I don't remember it being possible to route cables behind the side panel, so I could not make the wires neat which sucked. Is this possible with some of their other cases? I really like this case too...

the PC-60BPLUSII, Lian-Li cases are so nice, they look and feel high quality with the aluminum they are made out of, they are lightweight and very easy to build with, all thumb screws, slide out MB tray, ect. I kinda wish I went for the PC-60BPLUSII instead of the Antec 900, but again does anyone know if you can hide wires behind the side panel on this model?

I have been starting my build with this case and i know it well, its pretty much impossible to run any cables behind the motherboard tray since the space is VERY limited.

Mobo tray would have been nice. May have the Lian Li build quality but not all the bells and whistles. Nice if you can get the stores that don't have the clearance price yet to price match to the receipt Trans Am posted in the Deal thread.

Wow, I was going to get a cooler master but this actually looks really nice for the price. Gonna have to go to best buy and take a look at it.

Rocketfish is an "in house" brand owned by Best Buy, same as the Geek Squad and Dynex labeled products. Best Buy contracts with various manufacturing companys and has them design various products for them. Lian Li is just another company that Best Buy has partnered up to make Best Buy labeled products, a computer case in this instance.

Incorrect - no generic parts, the case is manufactured for Best Buy by Lian Li. High end case with a different name.

Think of it in this way in terms of simularities of cars.

    Lian Li - Cadillac Escalade

    Rocketfish - Chevrolet Tahoe

Pretty much the same truck - except the Escalade has more "bling" to it than the Chevrolet Tahoe.

    your analogy is inaccurate.

    umm... yea.

its manufactured in the same factory as lian-li, by lian-li, with lian-li pieces, and they put another badge on it. therefore, its a generic lian-li. much like Value O's and Cheerios are the exact same thing but in a different box.

Hmm, this kind of cheapens the lian-li brand for me. I used the think of them as i thought of bmw or porche, with no 'lower order'. Now I'm starting to think of them as lexus and rocketfish is toyota.

    Lian- Li sold out.

Sold out? Profits are profits; if it's possible to get Lian-Li quality at a much lower price, I don't see where anyone has the right to accuse them of being sell-outs. This move is good for Lian-Li, Best Buy, and the customers.
