one problem though.....i sold all my 8800's so i don't have any video cards to run SLI!! And pretty much all the AIC partners don't have any stock of 8800 GT and both the 8800 GTX and Ultra are EOL now so I'm kinda screwed right now.

No the heatsink is actually low profile and will not interfere with the cards.

yes they are the QX9775's. Intel probably just changed the last digit because these cpus are 771 and the slight part number change keeps it different.

It's pretty much the QX9770 but specifically made for dual cpu motherboards.

It's a dual socket 771 board with a seaburg chipset and takes either 2 clovertowns or the newer 45nm Harpertowns and if you were a real good boy this year Santa brings 2-QX9775's with it..
3200/12mb/1600 of Penryn goodness..
