nice rigs guy!
By the way did you see Gigabytes blog. They are saying you should contact your place of purchase in regards to a swap over/RMA. http://gigabytedaily.blogspot.com/20...-issues-q.html
Awesome rigs guys. I can see many hours of work in those systems and it paid off for you all. Here is a nice little happy snap of mine:

Fighting this problem for the last couple of weeks. Even replaced the CPU and the problem is still there. I run 2600K rock stable 4.7GHz@1.296V under load, but it BSODs in idle or just browsing with codes 101,124,1E,3B - need more Vcore... Running Normal with -0.035 DVID now. Auto and fixed Vcore does not help.
Upping Vcore, PLL, VTT does not help. Relaxing RAM settings does not help. Trying C3/C6 State Disabled now, but idle voltage and temps are up. Not the best solution if works at all.

i think your problem is unrelated to the chipset issue , its only to do with the sata ports , dropping drives basically not the stability of the motherboard i would say either lower your overclock or use more vcore and at that cpu speed make sure the cpu pll overide is enabled in the bios
first boot on f7a all 3d ok so far.

I didn't realise he was referring to the chipset issue...
It seems this really has got out of hand with a lot of users really not understanding what the problem actually is....

Neither did I...
Anyway... I don't think is the RAM or clock isue. Why it is stable under stress?
Running F7 now, had this problem with the last couple of bioses if I remember. But with new bios every day and barely staying idle (testing) before I can't say for sure.
Now when my 24/7 clock is set I'm getting this...
Might be a simple Wndows thing... lasy to clean install after the upgrade P35 -> P67...
Tryng to avoid PLL Overvoltage, can't use final bioses. That's why I sattled x47 for 24/7. But I think I've tried that.

Seeing as you are using an old install from an old platform
wouldnt you think to try a fresh install before replacing the chip, and fighting stability for a couple weeks?
People will do this and then post things like "this board sucks and isnt stable" or "Giga needs to come out with a better bios"
lol i cannot believe people actually think the chipset issue is causing them OC instability. LOL that has to be the funniest thing ever.
thx JB
This board is aok with me but man this chipset is boring sorta..
NO multi after 54 will boot, have not used too much bkl yet.
you think dice will help me out to get more multi? like do these chips respond to cold or what?
this @ load 1.55 real with ddm,set 1.52 llc2

Ha I could never build such a thing, it is a dimastech station.

ITs two cards jb that why i put the gpuz drop down in because it said disabled.
I messed up on the slots, well no maybe gigabyte did the 16x's should be spaced more apart, the second one is in a x8 slot i will fix it in a few
dimastech station's are sweet i always wanted a green one.. nice.

I'll do this. Actually my OS partition is auto imaging every night. It just takes so much time to customize the new install.
Did I blame the board? Not even the RAM. My old 2600K didn't want to do 45@under 1,3V and that was the main reason for replacement. MC rocks, I knew what batch they have in stock and it was much better than mine. So I did it. Was hoping for this problem too... well... It didn't. But seems C3/C6 disabled does the trick so far. Playing with windows power options might help too.
