    Exclamation Attention !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd like to see someone update the first post. This is a great thread for newbies. It seems like this is a big year for water cooling. This is the best computer site on the web.

Why aren't reservoirs mentioned? I'd find it quite informative to have a blurb about the point of having a reservoir, it's + and -'s as well as things to look out for and things that are a no go?

yeah, I second that motion. With the amount of informative information that pops up every week or so, the sticky could use with a nice update.

NEwbi here that needs some help please

I am building a new rig consisting of cpu: qx9650 or 9770 going to O.C. to 4.5 ghz, mobo: evga-790i ultra, gpu: evga-9800gx2 SSC. I want to liquid cool the cpu, gpu and have the ability to cool the memory and chipset at a later date (only have to buy the blocks). I have not used liquid cooling before so I was wondering on what parts to buy for my gpu block and the rest of the set up (cost is not an issue just top performance). I have been looking for a couple weeks now and have found some stuff, but got a little confused on what to get after reading these threads.

sorry man but none of those canned LC systems are any good.

the best one is the swiftech apogee-drive kit, although I'm not sure if it's available where you are...

yes and its not hard, get an mcp 355 a dtek v2 and then pick a rad (u can do a 120MM or 240MM without modding depending on the case)

what case do u have, and make sure that u have no aluminum at all, even fittings

Read about galvanic corrosion. With copper and aluminum and an electrically conductive medium (water), aluminum will corrode.

depending on your case since it looks like u dont wasnt to mod sells u what rad u can fit, u could do a swiftec mcr 220 with that at the back without modding, so if u wanted u could do a tline an apogy gt drive and an mcr 220 and u would have a drop in system that would be the same as installing a kit if not easier

and petras also ships any ware if u email them
