    ASUS P5E64 WS Evolution.....lets take a look.

    Hi Guys

Recently i had a chance to test one of ASUSīs new x48 DDR3 motherboards. The P5E64 WS Evolution.

Now comming from the P5E WS PRO DDR2 x38, wich is a board i love do to its stability and overclocking ability, it was hard for me to belive that there was something better on the market for me....well i was wrong

The P5E64 WS Evolution is realy a dreamboard if you ask me. Its stable as a rock, have great OC potential......and it looks good

Enought talk......lets see some pics of this bad boy

MB : ASUS P5E64 WS Evolution (unmodded)
RAM: Cellshock 1866 Blue kit 8-8-8-18
    GFX: XFX 9800GX2 stock
    PSU: NorthQ Giant Reactor 1KW

    Vnb 1.69v
    Vsb 1.20v
    VTT 1.68v

    Max FSB (BIOS boot 585)

    3d Bench Stability:

I then changed to quad QX9650 for FSb test. QUAD 3d stabitly test comming up

    Max 1m FSB

All together it have been wonderfull to play with another workstation board. I already got a thing for this Evolution i must admit Its just so easy to work with, and very stable

Later we will see how it does on some more extreme cooling.....

But for now...if you are looking for a stable and OC friendly board...the P5E64 WS Evolution is the way to go

Looks very good... Is the 595mhz the absolut max FSB of the board? Do you recon a 20mhz gain on cooling with other methods..?

    And the board.... Sexy

Sure...the board was unmodded in all tests. with mods and better cooling, it will fly for sure

I cant get over how GREAT this board looks. It is pure sex. This is up there on my list of favorite boards ever, with my Dfi's. Those look good in a different, flashy way.
