    Talking Just Booted Kentsfield !!!!!!!!!!!

    Well you all will be happy to know that The newest Bios rev of the Asus P5W DH will boot Kentsfield, I'll have pictures as soon as i load Windows. Its a Beautiful Sight!!!!!!!! Be back in a bit with another Update!!

    i think every conroe board supports kentsfield ... coolaler did kentsfield on DS3 with DDR2 1000
    E6600 @ 3.6

    Well have it booted, adn running in windows, i am using the 0701 Bios, its idleing @ 34 degrees!!!!! Did a quick Super PI 1MB test and came back with a 18Sec PI time, that is all stock! 2.66Ghz. Will be back in a bit with some more info.

    Sounds about right. (stock conroe does 21s) I think they found its not any faster than Core 2 in Single threaded apps, only in multiple threaded apps.

    some reviewer @egg said he had an es x6800 that does 17s stock.

    Here is a 3Ghz on STOCK volts!!! Super PI 17 Sec Run, Remember i have done nothing to optimize this at all, i need to go play with RAM timings adn what not to really get some Lead out, but for right now, 3Ghz

    Well just got some New RAM, some Mushkin, i am also DLing Cinebench as we speak so stay tuned for some yummy Benchies
