Sampsa, is there any chance you can post some pics of your containers and set-up?
When you say the "Slave-card Radeon X1900 XTX 512 MB doesn't seem to have any problems with cold", does that mean you have tested it at -50 or better? Is the cold bug completely random? If so, is there any chance you'll get your hands on a bug free CF master to go with your slave anytime soon? Maybe you can send Grayskull off to scour the ATI kingdom for that card?
How long a wait do you have until the RD580 mobo arrives?
Sourcing parts for a mildly over clocked abacus.
I tested regular Radeon X1900 XTX at -55C and didn't face any problems. X1900 CrossFire Edition stops working immediately after container's temperature drops below -27C, nothing random there. I don't know about RD580 schedule, depends how fast they send it from ATI and I'll order cold right away. Hopefully next weekOriginally Posted by gundamit

Hmm... I guess that it is driver related, because XT,XTX and CF are all based on the same chip (R580) afaik.

Damn, AAC....that's an AMAZINGLY low CPU score for a 3GHz FX60...you should be knocking on 2300's door.
Anyway, the rest of it are AMAZINGLY high GPU scores, I love it!
Whats the max safe voltage for X1900XTX on air?

No kidding. I get 2k at only 2.7GHz with my dualie. Of course, I run 270x10 so... that might be it. Some other dude here got 9k stock with XT in Crossfire and X2 at 2.7GHz...Originally Posted by Vapor

I see what I see, and you see what you see. I can't make you see what I see, but I can tell you what I see is not what you see. Truth is, we see what we want to see, and what we want to see is what those around us see. And what we don't see is... well, conspiracies.
Do you have some pics. of setup?

HMMM Wonder why my scores are off. It is 100% prime stable on both cores.... must be because I am running @ 200 x 15. I will crank it up to 250 x 12. Very strange. I am going to have RD580 boards this week so I might wait.Originally Posted by ahmad
My Venice 3000+ E6 300x9 stable gets 717 in CPU score, how come X24400 get 2000 at 270x10? (the one in the Brandybuck thread)
I think 3dk06 scores are really weird. I mean, I could fin logical a DC score around 180-190% higher than the single core, but almost 280%?

Look at your cpu score.
Now look at mine:
With less 200mhz i have more 270 points.
Could this be related with "Performance enhancements for dual-core CPUs.", that Nvidia introduced in his drivers??
seems like every time sampsa gets all ready to break a record, the cold bug kicks his ass.

I think the "Performance enhancements for dual-core CPUs" has nothing to do on how well the cpu itself performs. But that is only what I think from a logical perspective. I mean, how can nvidia make your CPU to work better when non in 3D mode (DX9, Ogl, etc) ?
Also, as I said with 1x7800GT and a Venice 3000 @ 300x9 I got 717. Brandibuck here
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=87351
got 2004 with a X2 4400 @ 270x10. And I don't think his memory made such a big advantage, mine was at 245.5 2-2-2-5.
Definitely, 3dk06 CPU scores are strange
