    Polycold/Chilly1 Modded Autocascade Rev2

Still some more testing to go, but here's the preliminary result of Chilly's second go around with my 6-stage Polycold autocascade:

14 gasses and temps still falling.........more to come

ATM, I'm struggling with the mount. In addition, there's a section of the suction line that still needs to be insulated before temps stabilize:

Chilly says the unit can be tuned for -100C temps as only 5 of the 6 stages are running with one more left to go

Nice s7e9h3n. Now you need to get a chip that has no cold bug. Maybe a 670 would fit the bill. An 840xe would also be pretty good.

Very nice unit. Hope she holds the load well for ya.

    Couple questions:

How can only certain stages be used? can some be turned on/off?
Can someone please show a diagram of how multi stage autocascades work?

    Thanks
    Tim

    P4 needs ln2

I really want to see the insides of that thing and how you don't need all the stages to run

I thought about planning a 3 stage auto cascade. I guess you'd just have to plan it out well and choose the right gases, control the condensing temp of each stage and charge accordingly. That may sound like i think it's easy, but I know it isn't

    AFAIK, this cpu has a bug @ 300HTT and ~-42C. Other than 300+, I haven't seen any signs of cold bugging even @ 13x269 @ ~-47C.

Before this second round mods, the unit was able to hold @ ~-20C 1.6V loaded. After the first regas (with 5 stages functioning) load was @ ~-26C 1.6. Chilly's added more ethelyne since then and now all 6 stages should be going and I'd expect temps ~ -30C loaded @ 1.6Vcore

The stages can't be turned off/on. When a stage isn't being utilized, I think it just means that the gasses aren't helping condense one another by the time it reaches that particular HX. I'll get chilly over here to explain specifics...

This is the same unit But this time, he's got a few other gases in it including r116. Haven't really load tested too much with this new blend, but preliminary results have the evap @ ~-68C loaded (haven't checked core temps) and ~-44C Idle @ 1.65-1.68 Vcore
