ooo tommy, where are those hr-05-ifx's available from?
I bought it from PC-Cooling.de
@Tommy_Hewitt: AWESOME Thermalright setup mate! Planning to do the same.
I wonder, would it matter if the 120mm fan on the Ultra-120Ex be on the other side (blowing heat AWAY from the HS) than TOWARDS the HS? & would you recommend putting a fan on the HR-07s?
Thanks!
Hehe, thank you
I think it wont matter if you put the fan on the other side. And on the HR-07 you dont need a fan

I first made an incision with a dremmel to hide some of the cables like the 24 pin and some other ones. I removed the two 90mm fans since they were kind of useless and I mounted a 120mm to the top instead via tie wraps. I also took the plastic cover off which reduced airflow a ton. Added 2 icages + 2 TT 1225 Led 120mm fans to the front. My idle temps @ 3.5ghz~1.43v (E6420) are Core0: 22C, Core1: 25C according to Core Temp. The added fans dropped temps about 3 or 4 degrees Celsius.

It's been done with two M3 threaded bolts and wing nuts. The TR SKU-800 weights about 900 grams and that's nothing for an X850XT and two M3 bolts. Temperatures were very close to ones i got with watercooling, even on an voltmoded card @ 1.65Vgpu at 650MHz (sucky overclocking gfx, i know)

why don't you drill outtake holes on the top of your case and change all the other fans (front and rear) to bring cool air in.
or if you are too lazy try the same without drilling holes, but instead put an outtake fan on the front - top at 5.25' place
