Cold plate in vapochill LS case

    Hello

One more unit, this time it is not standart . It is "cold plate" chiller in orginal vapochill LS case.

Don't ask me for what is that - I have order for it so I make it . Planned load is approx 0W. I'll be used to cool other metal plates (scientific experiments).

Goal was -30C somewhere on plate- I get approx -43C with final tune . It has eliwell controller so temperature can be risen.
    SPECS:

    Compressor: Aspera NEK2134GK
Evap: 4mm thick copper plate 20x20cm cooled by 3/8' roll pipe - evap mounted between copper and alu 3mm thick (sandwich)
    XV: captube 0.8 mm
    Condensor: stock vapochill LS + 120mm/38 12V Panaflo fan + 120mm/38 12V Nidec fan
    Refrigerant : R507
Case : stock Vapochill LS case
Others: Eliwell IC915 controller,Panaflo 120x38mm 12V fan on back of case

    "tool" for making roll evap

Not perfect but it is best I can make .

    Milled.

    And the sandwich is ready.

Now we take 100% stock vapochill LS.

    After less than hour ...

Owner will mount NTC probe to controller (that is why it reads "E1" - no probe plugged).

    With Kindest Regards
    Peter

Very cool, you can use these things to mix icecream flavors while keeping them cold
    Lot's of fun!
And an interesting way to do it.
The other option is to flatten a lot of straight tubes and parallel them up.

If you have a cooling question or concern feel free to contact me.

I bet it would be great at keeping your drinks cold, atleast 4 of them at a time. I like your evap., did you braze it to the plates?

No, pipe is not brazed to copper plate, it is only pressed to cooper by bolted aluminium plate .
