I mean the seller has it down as the -E version so I don't see why these CPUs won't work.

No. The S2912WG2NR-E has Istanbul support as does the S2912G2NR-E. The difference between the S2912WG2NR and the S2912G2NR is that the former has SAS and a bunch of other additional features. CPU support is the same.

Oh a REAL bit "WURD!" on that! I had high hopes myself, perhaps a little TOO high, actually. 60W Hexa-cores for a buck a pop, compatible mobos for sixty and also compatible with the RAM many of us have in our Sammys ... what's not to love!?! Real shame it's not panning out. Maybe next time, hey.

I messaged the seller to confirm they are -E versions. I also asked him to send me one board so I can check compatibility, I hope he agrees but I'm not holding my breath.
