Question To upgrade or not to upgrade? From 3 Crucial to 1 NEW Corsair

So currently i am running 3 64gb Crucial c300 SSDs in RAID0 , works great and everything is fast . Its been a while since i been tweaking with my computer and thought i would see whats new today and behold all the new SSDs are out and they seem to be putting out some crazy scores . I am VERY interested in this particular model :

Corsair Force Series GT CSSD-F180GBGT-BK 2.5" 180GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Would i be downgrading if i were to just sell my 3 crucial drives and getting just 1 of these New GT drives from corsair? They have a good deal on them right now and im looking to place an order if its worth it . What you guys think ?

I'd stick with C300 x 3 in RAID 0. Without a good SATA III port MB, then the C300 on the Intel will probably outperform the GT.

I see , im prob going to eventually upgrade my full rig anyways , so i was thinking pick up 1 for now and then grab 1 more and then slap them into RAID0 = Plenty fast with plenty room too . I have a spare 2tb HDD that i use as well but i do lots of editing on my comp so i need the speed and room. I think my MB should be able to push it .

+1. What you propose would be a downgrade. I would rather have 1 C300 than 3 Corsair Force Series GT’s. TRIM is coming to RAID sometime soon, plus if you really wanted a SF drive it might be worth waiting to see if the new Intel drive is using a SF controller. Even if it isn’t it would be worth waiting to check it out. It should be out in January.
