Also this kit is likely to be included with new HD's bought on or after we release the LGA2011 upgrade kit.
Stephen, any updated ETA on the upgrade kit?

    Thanks!

It's free for those who bought an Apogee HD (it will be included with all HD shipped after this date too).
Prepare your Apogee HD invoice and send an email with it to Michelle on the 25th.

FWIW, if you have the original hardware that came with the EK Supreme HF, those screws go right into the socket 2011 bracket. Here's a photo of them through the Rampage IV Extreme bracket.

They threaded right into the bracket on Intel's motherboard too.

For once I'm glad for having the original EK mountking kit.

Confirming that ETA for socket 2011 upgrade kits is 11/25. Kit consists in 4 thumb screws & springs.

Apogee HD: kits will be sent free of charge to HD owners upon request, and will then be included with HD upon receipt of the spring screws.

Apogee XT: same screw springs kit will work with XT.

Apogee GTX/GTZ: same screw springs will work with GTX/GTZ (as long as you have the adjustable chrome hold-down plate - with oval holes).

I have already presented you the EK-Supreme HF installation video. Below are also the installation vids for Supreme LTX and Supreme LTX UNI (block which comes with the EK-KIT H3O Supreme LT series kit):

The XSPC Raystorm is NOT, I repeat NOT compatible with LGA2011 as it is currently shipping. The reasons are twofold.

Firstly, on every board I have seen (granted only ASUS X79 Sabertooth and Rampage IV) the Raystorm backplates do not fit over the non-removable stock one.
Furthrmore if you attempt to screw their fancy hold down bolts all the way through they are wider diameter than M4 and cannot pass through the front of the LGA2011 socket.

I notice they have removed 2011 compatibility from the Raystorm page on their website. I will be contacting them, and requesting (for free) the requisite hardware in order to make it fit.
