Cool my next one "touch" with LN2 - action with ASUS Czech republic

Last weekend was OC action for editors and overclockers from Czech republic. I was one from chosen. But I took my HW, motherboards I need not have...(I tested my C4E and RIII BE from ASUS CZ). My CPUs for this 2 days was x2 555 BE (VID 1.25V), x4 980 BE (VID 1.475) and i7-980x. Others guys had here some ES, Phenoms, Thuban and Sandy Bridge 2600k.

    First some photos of pension:

Photos from OC action and PCs:

    my and Froxic OC station

my C4E with Froxic perfect Geils

MAD222 had "happy Lion", me with Froxic had only "happy spoon"

    ES under LN2 (OBRs)

I borowed here Rampage III BE for my 980x...

    ASUS hardware

    Results

First CPU for benchmarking was AMD PII x2 555 BE at C4E. Its older one, looks strong at CPU-NB, but I had problem with condensation, so after maybe 30 minutes CPU must go down from OC setup...

    6613 MHz validation

    http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1964330

    superpi 1M

Second CPU at my benchtable was x4 980 BE with "horrible" VID 1.475V. I hoped for 6.8 GHz, but reality was not so good ...

    6658 MHz

    http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1963842

With superpi was the biggest problem poor uncore clock. This CPU could get into windows with 3750 MHz at uncore.
    superpi 1M

    superpi 32M

    PiFast

In multithreading test was the next problem very bad Core2 (third core), for anything hell could not broked stability about 4800 MHz, others cores could 800-1000 MHz more.
    wprime 1024M

    wprime 32M

    DOSBOX and MaxxFlops

    MaxxMem

Do u like Cinebenchs under LN2 :-) (the same problem as wprime with core 3)?

    Or winrar over 6100 MHz?

    AIDA Memory bench

AIDA CPU Queen and CPU AES

Qucik 3DVantage with non OC HD4890

This setup working perfectly, maybe 3h and I stopped it not from technical problems or so...

Last one was Intel i7 980x and Rampage III Black (very nice looking board!). It was my first longer experience with Intel under LN2. I found coldboot and coldbug. Good knowledge was, coldboot and coldbug was not much diference...Coldboot about -135C and COldbug about -155C. Bad news, we had now not much LN2 for more results...It was last day.

    Validation over 6 GHz - 6095 MHz

    http://img30.imageshack.us/img30/2832/ocb6391.png
    http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1964331

very poor 32M , for next runs with better uncore and clocks was not LN2

    superpi 1M

    3D06 with HD6990

wprime 1024M and 32M (very quickly)

    Fan and "say goodbay" :-)

    Froxic with AMD Radeon eyes

my hot AMD sausage :-D (it was eaten ...)

Thanks ASUS for invsation and thanks all people from this OC action, it was fun! I am near and near Extreme OC in my hearth

Very good OC action with nice enviroment - hostel and medium mountains. We have condensantion issues with 555 after maybe half hour of validation testing. So we only few results with "real" benchmarks. This 555 have definitely potential to break some record, maybe next time. I hope that 980BE will be better than on air, but it wasnt. With Intel it was little tricky, but im glad for some experience gain (as Flanker mentioned). Thanks belong to ASUS for great action!

    One of two things happened:
    1. They obtained an AMD Engineering Sample from OBR
    2. OBR was there. I bet on this one.

    Flank3r isn't OBR.

We are all in red tape land now...

BeepBeep2: OBR tested his FX sample (B0) here . So we looked at results (for example we know SP1M times, etc) and make some photos with FX in our hands :-)

I still don't understand why you don't publish Bulldozer results, from what OBR says, it's not AMD sample and he didn't sign any NDA ;] but that's my two cents only

From my point of view its respect to NDA, so no results here. But this I can, think:
