    Max Voltages for 32nm CPU's

I have an EVGA SR-2 running dual X5650's (a 980X with a 20X multiplier and dual QPI lanes). What are the maximum voltages I can run through these chips 24/7?

The chips are cooled with EK Supreme HF blocks and their own PA120.3 (360mm) radiator with 6 fans in a push/pull configuration.

Much congrats and plus 1 on the pics!

Intel posts absolute max v's - as they are intel's recommendation - i assume they are 24/7 numbers -
Processor Core voltage with respect to VSS 1.4V
VTTA Voltage for the analog portion of the integrated memory controller, QPI link and Shared Cache with respect to VSS 1.4V
VTTD Voltage for the digital portion of the integrated memory controller, QPI link and Shared Cache with respect to VSS 1.4V
VDDQ Processor I/O supply voltage for DDR3 with respect to VSS 1.8V
VCCPLL Processor PLL voltage with respect to VSS - 2.0V
    Chart Courtesy of Benchmark Reviews

I've had the 980 for a couple months -for benching I have run for up to 8 hours at a time and mostly only on weekends -
    vcore - 1.55 - 1.6v (bios)
    vtt - 1.4 to 1.48v (bios)
    cpu pll - 1.9v (bios)
    i/o v for mem - up to 1.83v (bios)
using ggbt ud7 mobo and chilled water (2x boreas in series to an apogee XT block with an mcp pump/XSPC top)

    Results to date -

I was able to get 4.8 linx stable (ht off) -

    and a pcmv wr @ 4.8 (ht on) -

Best of luck to you and post your results!

    Also - I didn't think you could run 980x on sr2 - i thought only xeon's?

I am running Dual Xeon X5650's. This is a 2.66 GHz 6-Core chip. It is bosically a 980X with a locked multiplier.

    Here is Intel's recommendations:

VVT is a bigger killer/degrader, and we don't know the long term effect of high-VVT on 32nm yet. I personally have been keeping at 1.32v for 24/7.
Then comes vCore and it is a good idea to keep it under 1.375v for 24/7.

I've been running my X5650 @4.18GHz(220x19) 1.31v, VVT=1.32v with Uncore=x15 since the latest GA UD7-BIOS has unlocked the Uncore.

BTW, has the latest SR_2 BIOS unlocked the Uncore yet?
