    The truth is out there.

For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream.

    Nice stone, Bulldog.

I just launched MilkyWay and bagged 400K points in roughly a day with my two 4870x2 cards. Pretty fun

    However, there are some drawbacks:
    - Little bit of GUI lag here and there. Nothing compared to Nvidia GUI lag when running GPUGrid
    - 1.1 KW power draw. Overloading the UPS I have, so a power outage will knock out the system.
    - HEAT. The heat dump into the loop from these things is insane. I need to split the loop from my CPU/chipset or add more rads. 6 120mm rads can't cope.

I'll see if it's viable to run.

Is their server down right now?

What actually (almost) p*sses me off is that in 6 days of MW@home i`ve got 600k points, and thats with the first 5 days using 4870, now on 4870x2...and in 3y4m in WCG i`ve managed 2mil.

    Sad almost
But it feels SO good seeing big numbers...like really good. Upgraded to a cheap 4870x2 just for that

Any way to reduce that GUI lag now with MW@H? I tried setting 95% util and it doesn't seem to be working.
